The Last Orca

                               CHAPTER 1

   There was a killer whale named Blizzard. He was swimming through the northern Pacific. Like always, he was alone ,all alone no family. He was an albino orca the only one of his kind left. his pod or family was albino as well. witch was rare in killer whales. Blizzard lost his family thanks to hunters that capture whales for marine parks. He always thought like he was unwanted mostly cause he wasn't like other whales he saw in the ocean. His mother Luna risked her life to keep her calf alive.

    She went in front of a harpoon before it got to her calf. He was 2 yrs old when his mom died the rest of his family was killed and some were taken to 5 different marine parks. He is now 12 yrs old. He had to learn to survive on his own because no other whales would take him in as there own and teach him the ways to survive. They all thought he was dangerous because he was different. He even had to protect himself from the dangers he would encounter along the way. It was in the late afternoon when he same farther than he was used to, and saw this thing floating in the water. It was a small boat sitting against the dock.

    There was a girl on the boat, and still being a young calf he was curious. Blizzard swims up to the boat and looks at the girl. The girl looks Down at the little whale, hello there little one and where is ur mom? Blizzard looks up then back down. oh is she not with u anymore...? Well that's ok, my name is Kate by the way. she layed down on the boat and reached out to the little whale. wow ur amazing up close! I should give u a name...hmmm how about..Blizzard! Blizzard was a very happy whale. He breaches and squeals with joy! Haha your playful one arnt you. Kate's dad sits down beside her. Who's this? Kate looks up, his name is Blizard, because he's white all white. I wonder why? Well that's because he's an albino.

    Albino?? yes, albino means the pigments in his skin can't produce the color the makes him black and white. If you look at his eyes they are a pinkish color. wow that's cool dad. He's rare he's probably about 11-12 years of age not many albino whales live to be 2-5 years then die of heart failure. It was getting dark and as Kate says goodnight to her new friend Blizzard. The night passes on bringing the morning back around. Kate runs out to see her friend up and jumping around squealing loudly. Shhhh you'll wake my dad up. Blizard stops squealing. Kate sits down in the bay resting in the cool water, Blizard comes up from under her and takes her off and poof!!!

   Blizard takes a large breath and swims off with Kate on his back. She holds on to his dorsal fin and they take off into the wide open sea! Kate holds onto to him as tight as she could hoping she won't fall off. Blizard kicks up speed and swims faster and faster Kate keeps one hand tightly grasped around his dorsal fin as she places the other one into the cool blue ocean. It feels great out her! I love the breeze and the smell of the ocean, it must feel like home to you huh buddie. Kate decides to swim on her own and so she hoped off Blizard and he whistles and clicks.

    I'm glad I meet you Blizard your the best friend anyone could have. your the best killer whale in the world, more like the only orca in the world to many people have hunted and some have been taken to marine parks for entertainment. I think it's cruel, I think all or as should be free and not in a tank, it's basically a bath tub to you guys. You don't have enough room or space to swim, a you do is swim in a circle.
