Mystery-Chapter 3

Maria P.O.V

      During the first 10 minutes of class he was quite which was really weird. The teacher came in (he is late).

       "Sorry for the delay" said Mr.Accad (Kiara's dad). "How come you came late but Kiara came early" asked the girl I really hate *Jamileth*. She thought and still thinks that I like Jonathan which is totally stupid.

       "Well I wasn't home, I had to go to a wedding so I only came 30 minutes ago from it" said Mr.Accad "Anyways since I'm going to Canada for 3 weeks I'm going to leave you guys a project AND I'll pick the group's" said Mr.Accad. I just hate when he chooses the group's cause I always get people that leave me with all the work.

        Mr.Accad started saying the group's when I heard him say "Cruz and Mendoza" I couldn't believe that he is actually saying that, I just hate him now even if he is my bestfriends dad.

      "I don't  don't want to hear any complaints about your partners" said Mr.Accad Everybody had their faces down but the only person that was smiling was Jonathan Mendoza "Your such a creep" I said to jonathan as he sended me a winked "gross" I said

    The bell to lunch rang and I saw Jonathan walking towards me " you have to give me you number so I can text you and plan when and where can we meet so we could do the project" said Jonathan with a smirk in his face."ok" I said as I wrote my number on his wrist... I just don't know why I agreed to that.

       "I'll text you" said Jonathan. "I don't care... anyways it's only for the project" I said." whatever, just put your best foot forward" said Jonathan. "Both of them you mean" I said.... Almost cracking up with his emotion.... Maria focus.

      As I walkes to the cafeteria I could already see jade waving at me."Hey Kiara "I said. " you never call me Kiara, is something wrong" said Kiara. "I gave my phone number to Jonathan " I said."Are you crazy" said Kiara, almost yelling at me. " I just did it for a project he left us" I said."Oh yeah... I forgot to tell tou about that but the good thing is that first you get to choose the topic" said Kiara. " wait so you knew that I was going to get Jonathan for a History project and didn't tell me... KIARA ACCAD?!" Isaid with anger. " I tried to convince my dad that he is a bad partner for you but he said that there was no one else to work with him but you" said Kiara

        "Ok, but next time just make sure my partner ins't Jonathan" I said to kiara." Yes ma'am" said kiara when I got a text from a strange number

      I didn't respond. Two minutes later another message came

        I didn't answer I just continued talking to kiara since Lien got detension for talking in class which is stupid in many ways but whatever.
