Hospital

I woke up to the sound of sirens and rumbling. I tried to sit up on the cold surface in which I had been laid upon but then was put back down. I looked around and saw two young men like in their 20's looking at me worried. I slowly moved my hand to the back of my head and felt a cold wet substance. I looked back at my hand and saw it was covered in blood. Then suddenly I realized what was going on and what had happened. I was in an ambulance and I hit my head on a pole at school. I quickly got up as fast as I could in the moving vehicle and rushed to the back of the car trying to open the doors. I couldn't go back to the hospital after what they did to my arm. I kept trying and trying to open the back doors but they were locked. The two men rushed over to get me and had to strangle me back to the bed where I was formally laying on. I tried to right back but since I lost so much blood I was druzy and really, really dizzy. My vision was blurry and I couldn't fight back anymore. I let them take me back to the bed and I was laid down. I looked up at the top of the car and I asked the guy next to my left a question, but my voice was so quiet and low I don't think he heard me,

"Why?..."

He looked confused and I blacked out again. I woke up to the bright lights above me but as soon as my vision was clear I realized one of my eyes was covered. It was probably the bandage covering the back of my head. I overheard some people talking on the other side of the curtain next to me and I listened.

"We overlooked her and took some X-Rays to make sure she didn't have any more damage somewhere else but other than a small fracture in her skull, her arm, it's unlike anything I've seen before."

There was a pause then he spoke again.

"It been four years and she hasn't gotten them changed. We need that fixed and she might have to stay here for two weeks because of the head fracture and now this."

Another voice rose up.

"Alright. Good job nurse Taylor."

One of them moved the curtain and came into the area I was in and the other one left.

"Oh good your awake. I'm nurse Taylor. I'm going to be like your doctor for now."

He said setting a clipboard with X-Rays on the table near me.

"I know what a nurse is..."

I said softly.

"Ok then. Sarcastic are we?"

Taylor said looking at me.

"Sure, when do I get to go home? I need to go home. I'm sorry but my parents hate it when I'm not home. I swear I need to go home."

"I'm afraid I can't do that and don't worry. Your parents are here."

"...Ok then..."

He moved me over to my side and looked at my arm.

"So, you have a fracture in the back of your head from where you hit it but then I see here you have broken your arm and now you currently have a wire cast inside of your arm?"

"Yeah..Thanks to you stupid Nurses and Doctors, my arm couldn't heal correctly."

I started to frown and gave the nurse a death glare like it was his fault.

"Why are you giving me that look?"

"It's your fault I hurt like hell every day."

"Not mine. But someone else's. And, I'm sorry it brings you pain. We're only trying to make you feel better."

"Whatever. When DO I get to go home?"

"Two weeks"

"Two weeks?!"

I stood up quickly very upset and became very dizzy.

"Whoa, lay back down. I'm sorry, it'll take two weeks but you need ABOUT two weeks before you can go back to your house and back to your school."

I laid back down and stared at the lights above me.

The other doctor from earlier came in and gave the nurse a nod and then the nurse took a syringe and entered into me. I blacked out after a couple of seconds later.
