Rolling over in bed and yawning I looked at the clock across the room before sitting up quickly, realizing that one, that was a mistake and two, I was going to be late for school.I hit my head on the ceiling and groaned rubbing the spot I had hit the ceiling. I quickly move and climb down the bed before looking around, I walked to my dresser and quickly grab clothes to change into, once I had I brought a brush through my hair looking into the mirror above my dresser.
I put it up, and walk to my door before opening it up I heard a noise, of what sounded like an alarm. Looking over at my desk under my bed I frown and walk over silently.
Of course, I'm an hour early. My clock on the wall was an hour ahead. Sighing I walked out of my room and head downstairs quietly, before quickly speeding passed the front room and into the kitchen grabbing bacon.
"Thanks, mom." Mumbling with a mouth of food I sit at the island and look at my plate. I watched as my mom finished cooking and putting the food on the plates for me and my three other siblings.
I started eating before hearing the mail slot open and close, signaling that the mail had just been delivered. "I got it!" I say getting up and nearly running to the door, I looked at the floor seeing quite a bit of letters there.
Bills, bills, a letter from the principle to mom... Not letting her see that... Bills. Letter from, not from anyone...?
Miss. F/I L/N,
The bed too high,
29 Crown Street,
Nottinghamshire
Hm, I've never seen a letter like this, especially with the stamp on the back. Turning it over I saw a purple wax seal bearing a lion, an eagle, a badger, and a snake surrounding a large letter.
Playing with it for a moment I put it in the coat of my jacket before leaving the hallway hoping it wouldn't fall out while I was away. "I think it's all bills," I mutter as I sit down and start to eat yet again. "Don't worry you'll get something soon."
My mother smiled at me before turning away to finish making food for herself, taking the chance I shove the letter from the principle down the trash.
I finish eating and put my plate in the sink before going to my jacket and grabbing my letter.
I run upstairs to my room and look at the letter, I carefully open the back, making sure to not ruin the stamp. I pull out a paper, unfolding it I quickly read what's on it.

"Hogwarts?" I murmur before taking out the second sheet and reading through it carefully. It said everything that was required. A broomstick is not allowed? What is this cleaning school? A private cleaning school, because that's what it sounds like.
I look at it one more time before finally thinking it was the right time to bring it up to my mom. I get up and walk downstairs looking around, I spotted her by herself at the island eating and reading the newspaper.
I walked over and set the letter down. "What's this?" She asked softly before looking away from the paper and to the letter, stopping for a moment she looked to me. "Is that..." She initiated but paused herself to look at it first before getting excited.
Seizing the letter she clutched it as she read it, a humongous smile came to her face as she looked at me. "You got accepted to Hogwarts!" She said blissfully.
I only nodded slightly. "Okay, but what is it?" I inquired monotonously as I looked at her. She looked at me before getting up and grabbing the telephone, calling me into school sick.
I then follow her down the stairs to the basement where we walked to the back, she started through boxes as if looking for something.
Finally, she pulled out a book and a broomstick. "Here." She said quietly handing them to me and giving out a smile. I grab them, looking at them then back to her. "What... are they?" I murmured looking at the book, 'Potions'.
"Potions?" Looking at her I tilt my head and watched as she sat on a chair next to me. "Yes... And that's what Hogwarts is about... Witches... Wizards." She started before frowning when I didn't say or do anything.
"You learn magic there, make friends, and get to see the wonderful things about Hogwarts." She said quietly. I stopped and looked at her suddenly. "Is that why the pictures can move?" I ask looking at her.
I was mentioning the picture in her room next to her bedside of her and dad. She looks at me and nodded silently, smiling slightly. "You told us it was 'new technology.'" I say looking at her quietly.
"That was kind of... a lie." She said quietly, looking to me before smiling widely. "Besides that, you're going to Hogwarts!" She said happily.
"You are the only child that is a witch, so be proud. It's an honor to be a witch and get into no other than Hogwarts." She said standing up and brushing the dust off her pants.
"Hogwarts...." I look at the potion book quietly.
[Ayeeee, guess who's finally remaking their decent to not good book! Okay, so this is the overall start! I am in school and I am currently taking two writing classes, one being creative writing and the other a Science fiction and Fantasy class! So I may not be able to update often, because those two are priorities, I am also taking a fish class but eh that's not important! So please be patient, and I hope you like this update version rather than the monstrosity that I uploaded back in 2013. So have a gooooood day/night!]
