He told himself over and over again. He clenched his fists so hard that his knuckles went pale. But despite his fingernails digging it's way to his palm, nothing could be more painful than what he was seeing.
Just a few seats ahead of him was Seungcheol, his once lovely and charming Seungcheol, with one arm lazily draped on Jihoon's shoulder. Seungcheol would whisper in the younger's ear from time to time, with a noticeable smile on his lips.
The scene was tearing Jeonghan apart, no, it was crushing Jeonghan completely.

He tried to be angry, even just a bit, but his sadness seemed to swallow every inch of his being. He couldn't be angry. How could he? He knew all along that the spot wasn't his and will never be.
He gripped his shirt. His heart felt heavy.

Jeonghan could feel the tears building up on the corner of his eyes. He shooked his head and looked through the bus' window. He saw the 7/11 that was a 5-minute walk away from their school. His heart felt heavier.
