5 years later mito was 14 while her younger brother (who she didn't know) was 13. 5 years later After finally finding out that mito had locked her self out of her own free will Hiruzen somehow got mito out of prison (he told her that he knew some people who are willing to acknowledge her). He told her to meet him in his office at the hokage tower. When mito was on her way to the hokage tower all the people of the village started staring at her like she was some kind of monster that could destroy the village at any possible moment. Suddenly a big piece of fruit caught her eye she hasn't eaten any good food in years so she went to get one she stopped to look at all the fruit that the owner had, and finally when the the owner noticed her he pushed her and said "just what do you think your doing" . "Hey what's the big idea" yelled mito "I mean I was just looking at the food you have". So he grabbed a basket of apples and said while throwing them at mito "here is this what you wanted "then just take it and don't come back" . Time skip to after Mito reached the hokage's tower.... Mito was standing next to Hiruzen . "everyone this is mito she is a very talented Shinobi". "Alright starting now you'll be working with team 7" said Hiruzen. "The team consists of Sakura Haruno, Naruto Uzumaki, and Sasuke Uchiha" explained Hiruzen. " Sasuke Uchiha huh?". "strange that name sounds so familiar" said Mito. "You sure? Your not saying that because you like him are you" said kiba. Mito looked at him with confusion and her face turned red. "That's enough kiba" exclaimed Hiruzen. "As for your sensei, mito, it will be your former guardian Kakashi Hatake. Mito's eyes widened while she was dragged by naruto who was excited to teach her everything he knew. "Hold on naruto" said Hiruzen. Naruto stopped saying "what?". Time skip to when naruto and Mito were at Ichiraku ramen.... "So mito which clan do you come from?" Asked naruto. "huh?!" "OH!" Mito turned around and pointed at the uzumaki crest on her back and said "the Uzumaki Clan". "I guess that's why the 3rd hokage decided that I should stay with you" said Mito. A few minutes later naruto asked "so do you have any dreams?". "Huh? Dreams?". "well I used to have one but I gave up on it since the 10 tails is sealed inside of me everyone refuses to acknowledge me." Said mito. "You?" She asked. "I'm glad you asked" said naruto. He pointed at mito with his chopsticks and exclaimed "MY NAME IS NARUTO UZUMAKI AND IM THE FUTURE HOKAGE!". Mito stared at him and smiled. Then naruto advised Mito not to give up on her dream! But she wouldn't listen. "Because after all as your friend I acknowledge you". Said naruto. "My friend?" Said mito hesitantly.

End of flashback (yes I know it's short but what can you do) "Listen naruto" said mito. "Huh?" Asked naruto. "I'm not ready to have a friend I still can't get over that incident". "what incident". Mito's eyes widened as she regretted what she has spoken and she left.
Time skip to the next day.... Naruto was going to introduce mito to Iruka sensei who was going to treat the both of them to Ichiraku ramen. On the way kiba,Shino,Shikamaru,Choji,Ino,Sakura and sasuke came to tell mito and naruto that hinata was kidnaped by someone called Mitsuki and that they were planning to go on a rescue mission. Mito's eyes widened and she exclaimed "Mitsuki!?". "Well yeah that's his name. What's wrong do you know him or something" asked Ino. Mito raised her head and looked at Ino while nodding her head". Later they were on their way to rescue hinata using kiba's nose to guide them. "Damn it I lost his sent". "That way" pointed Mito. "You sure?" Asked kiba. "Trust me my nose never lies" said Mito.
Time skip to when they reached mitsuki in the forest..... "So I see you finally found me" said Mitsuki while walking towards the group. Every one took out there kunai and prepared to fight. "BASTARD! give hinata back" said kiba. "Make me" said Mitsuki. Sasuke ran in and designated Mitsuki except he soon found out it was a substitution jutsu. Mitsuki took every one by surprise and knocked every body out. But Mito seen that she's a jonin escaped before she was knocked out. Mitsuki picked every body up and started walking towards his hide out so mito followed him.
Time skip to when mito and mitsuki reached the hide out.... mitsuki through every one in a huge Kage were hinata was and said "are you going to die here all the dreams that you kids had are going to go to waste". Mito's eyes widened as the thought of naruto dying haunted her and she began shaking as she suffered from Thanatophobia due to her past. She lost her mother, her father, sasuke stopped talk to her all of a sudden, she lost itachi to the akatsuki, she lost misora, Shisui Uchiha and she almost killed her guardian kakashi.
Flashback... "well I used to have one but I gave up on it."

"So I wonder which one of you should I kill first"said mitsuki. "AHA YOU" he said while pointing at naruto of course no one could here mitsuki because they were unconscious. Mitsuki raised his sword and just before he could hit naruto mito jumped in front of his sword defending naruto. "Ahhh mito" "just what do you think you doing" "why are protecting these mere brats?"Asked mitsuki(btw everyone returned to consciousnes✌🏽). "The answer is quit simple mitsuki" said Mito. "It's because...... they're my friends". "All my life I was viewed as a myth from the past that everyone would wish disappeared" "but they......there the first real friends I had that acknowledged me....and that....accepted me for who I am" Said mito while looking at naruto ready to fight and then in a flash mito sliced the ropes that was tying her friends up."Oh, and also There's no longer any need to suppress the dream that I have longed to accomplish before you came along.............. To be Hokage!" Mito said happily. Naruto's eyes widened.
