She leaned on the wall while tears gushed down her cheeks,
A shiver ran down her spine each time in the past she peeks.
The appalling day has left a deep wound on her mind,
Lost in a world of darkness, with no ray of hope to find.
Why can’t anybody hear her silence?
Why can’t anybody understand her inner violence?
How she wished she could scream out loud,
How she wished to hide herself away from the crowd.
She kept blaming herself for all that happened,
For that night when everything blackened.
Partially unconscious she could still feel,
All the wounds he was giving that would never heal.
His fingers ran all over her framework,
Destroying her whole life with a smirk.
She regretted joining the celebration,
She repented enjoying her liberation.
With each touch she was breaking within,
The feels of the dirty touches never left her skin,
People around kept taunting, reminding her of that awful day,
Crushing even her slightest hopes away.
The beautiful curve on her face had disappeared,
Knowing that the truth was the fact that she had feared.
