Why couldn't he open his eyes to see it? I knew things were off and that it would come back to bite him in the ass later. I just had to find a way to make him see it. Wait, why did I even care what the fuck happened to him? He obviously didn't give two shits about me, he didn't trust me at all.
I opened the door to my room and was surprised to find Jade there. We technically shared a room but I always slept with Aubrey so it was basically hers.
"How long have you been here?" She was laid out of the bed staring at the ceiling.
"Long enough to hear that argument." I sighed and sat down. I really didn't like Jade but out of all the girls she wasn't the most hated. "You're right you know?" I was taken back that she agreed with me. "I hate Levi. I just feel like I know him from somewhere, but not anywhere good." I nodded.
"Yeah, I mean he just rubs me the wrong way," I ran my hand through my hair. "Can you see he's distracting him?" I turned my head towards hers and she was still staring at the ceiling.
"Drake isn't usually this blind, he always knows when something is wrong. I mean it's just stupid he trusts this kid so much." She paused for a moment, maybe waiting for me to say something. When I didn't she continued. "We need to find a way to knock some sense into him." She finally turned her head.
"I've tried, I mean you just heard me." She sat up and leaned against the head board.
"Yeah but not that way. Riley we need to do some shit behind his back, investigating. Then we need to fuck with his mind a little." I rolled my eyes then looked back at the ceiling. Typical Jade, always wanting to screw people over.
"I'm just gonna let him to his own thing, he doesn't want me in his business." She sighed.
"If we don't get in his business he won't have one after awhile." She was right. "Just trust me for once. Riley what you don't see is that I'm different from high school. I see he means a lot to you, I don't wanna get in the way of that. I wanna help you. I probably sound fake to you but I see the way Drake looks at you." I sat up and looked at her. "I just wanna open his eyes cause if he goes down, so do we. I need this."
"You have my attention." She smiled.
"I just wanna play with him a bit." She walked over to my bed and sat. "First off don't let him have what he wants. We won't let him control us or order us around. Second just start mixing things up in the house. We all know how he likes everything organized and not fucked with, just start moving shit around. Third, just make him think he's crazy. Just mess with him a little and when he's not looking do things. And last, no sex." I smiled, no matter how much I hated Jade I could never say she wasn't smart. "Start off with little things then change it up a little. While he thinks he's going crazy we'll be watching Levi."
"Alright but if one gets caught so does the other." She reached her hand out and we shook on it.

I slowly walked into the kitchen and over to the pantry. I made sure Aubrey saw me cause I knew his ass would try some shit. Jade was in the other room waiting for him to get distracted. I grabbed a stack of crackers and started walking out, as planned he grabbed my wrist and pulled me back. He trapped me against the counter and himself. He brought his head down and pressed kisses on my neck. I pushed him off a little.
"What?" He whispered. I saw Jade out the corner of my eye. I felt Aubrey's hands grip my ass.
"Aubrey stop." He brought his head back down and began kissing my neck again. Jade quickly switched Aubrey's drink. We noticed he was drinking water and switched it with champagne.
"Why?" I felt his hands rub my sides. I didn't answer. I watched Jade leave the kitchen with the glass of water, leaving the champagne. "Are you still mad about yesterday?" I pushed him off of me knowing Jade was out.
"Yes." I ate a cracker from the stack.
"Ri, get over it. What you should be worried about is what I wanna do to you later." He smirked and I rolled my eyes. I did want him but as part of the deal with Jade I wouldn't do anything. He turned around and grabbed his drink. He turned back and leaned against the counter before taking a sip. He made a face and put the cup down.
"What's with the face?" I was trying not to laugh at him.
"It's just, I thought I had water."
"And...?"
"It's fucking champagne now." He dumped it in the sink and got more water. "I could've sworn I had water. Anyway just mind your own business and we'll be good alright?" I rolled my eyes and made sure he saw.
"Trust me more and we'll be good alright?" I mimicked him. He set his drink down and walked over to me.
"Ri, for real just do what I say for once, please." He leaned down and kissed me. "You know I wouldn't do anything to hurt what we have." I wasn't sure if he was talking about the business we built or our relationship he claimed didn't exist. He leaned down so his lips were touching my ear and whispered so I could barely hear. "You know I love you." He said it so low I wasn't even sure I heard him right. He kissed my cheek before grabbing his cup and walking out of the kitchen.
Aubrey was the most confusing man in the world. One minute he doesn't love me, the next he does. One minute he says the most important thing is business and then he implies I am. Aubrey played too many games and I knew it. The saddest thing was, I always played his games.

I'm so sorry it took so long to update. I had to figure the story out and what I wanted to do. Plus school is almost out so I'm busy. When school is out I should post more though.
