???: HAPPY BIRTHDAY RUBY!!!!

A family celebrates a 5 year old's birthday. This young girl had midnight hair with blood red tips, eyes as silver as metal, and a face as innocent as an angel. Her mother, father, and uncle were eating cake and laughing with each other. But there was one member of this family who is very sad. She has hair as gold and free as flame, and dull lilac eyes. Her name is Yang Xaio Long, older half sister to ruby.

Yang: ' why do mom and dad hate me? What makes her so special that they forget I ever existed? It's not fair!'

She begins to walk away from the house crying, though nobody could tell because of the heavy rain...wait.

(A/n):*shakes fist* DAMN YOU CLICHES!!!!

She kept walking till she saw someone in a tree. His (H/c) (H/l) wet from the rain, his (E/c) had an unusual glow to them, but what really caught her eye was that he was playing with (F/c) fire in his bare hands.

???: hello there. What brings you here?

Yang: nothing, just going for a walk.

???: in the rain? You would have a better excuse saying that you were a ghost.

Yang: yeah, but what is it to you?!

Feeling like she was being messed with, she yelled that instead of saying it. But, the boy kept his cool.

???: nothing really, just watching your family ignore your being.

Yang gasped at this. Has he been stalking her? Or did somebody actually started to care about her?

???: look yang, I'm here to make you a deal. A deal so life changing, anybody else would kill their kid or loved ones to be able to have a chance at this.

Yang: alright 1. How do you know my name? 2. What is this deal? And 3. Why me?

???: 1. That can be explained at a later time, 2. Come with me to find out, and 3. Because of your situation.

Yang: why should I go with you?

???: well, it's eather me or them.

Yang looks back at the house, her father and uncle outside with their weapons drawn. She knew if she went back, she would surely be beaten. She turned back to the strange kid.

Yang: it's a deal...

She just realized she never asked what his name is.

???: oh sorry! I'm so rude for not introducing myself earlier. My name is...Bill Cypher!
