Coward.
If after that one moment
that's how the world remembers me
The one who was too afraid to stand up
for what's right
Stand up for the justice and against the
fight
Then nothing comes except spite.
Every inch of my soul explodes to get my attention
To move my tired bones in the direction of the truth
If I ignore that than I am no better than you.
You,
the one who tears them down
Who refuses to open your eyes to the
inequality that begins to drown
Drown out all the good things they had to offer
Until nothing is left but a tired body
lacking a soul.
If all I do is walk around
happy that the victim is not me
Then I'll have failed who I am meant to be.
