You watched as your fellow cadets got eaten and bitten. You were helpless, laying on the cold ground. You husband cradling you, almost in tears.

I remember tears streaming down your face
When I said, i'll never let you go
When all those shadows almost killed your light

But all that's dead and gone and passed tonight

“Don’t go.” Was what he managed to slip out, crying.

“I have no choice. It’s what happens in life.” you smiled weakly, closing your eyes.

you’ll be alright.

“(Y/N), please.” Tears now streamed, falling on your bloody uniform. “You’re all I have.

“No, you have, the world. Sometimes, it’s not whether you had fun, it’s whether you survived. Which Levi, you did” Your words were cut short. Your heart stopped beating. Levi’s face now plummeted in tears, as he smiled, remembering your glory.

No one can hurt you now

“You and I’ll be, safe, and sound.” He whispered softly, crying into you.
