prologue

JAEDEN:

l've never been that big of a fan of change. everything has always been the same for me! l would wake up, go to school, hang out with my girlfriend of 2 1/2 years, and go to sleep. the same routine every day.

but that all changed when my parents got a divorce! now me and my mom are moving across the country, to a new house, new school, A NEW LIFE! l was fine with my old life! l would rather be anywhere else but in this car right now!

we are about a hour before we are there so l decide to take my headphones off and take a nap.

"hey honey wake up! we are here!" my mom said in a very happy tone "great" l tried to sound excited but it came out as sarcastic anyways.

the house was small, but then again we don't need much space, it's just me and her. but it is a two story house, but there are only two rooms on the top floor, plus a bathroom, more like a loft than another floor.

l go to the room that is mine and l open my blinds to get some more light in. when l do something catches my eye, l see someone. in the next house over. he has curly hair, he's tall, fit, and if l say so myself, quite attractive!

l watch him as he sits playing a video game. me makes a mad expression and seems to say "oh come on!" tosses the controller onto his bed then notices me.

shit shit shit. he seems me! he's going to think that i️m some sort of crazy stocker! l quickly look away but when l look up l see his standing right infront of his window, arms crossed over his chest.

lm blushing like crazy! why can't l stop! he smirks and gives a weak two fingered salute towards me and i️ give a small wave back.

with that he smiles, shakes his head and leaves the room.

l mean what? lm not gay! although l have been curious before... NO! l had a girlfriend! lm not gay!
