Chapter 5~ Two sided

Ariana's POV

(One week later)

As the last school bell rang,I walked to my locker and put the rest of my books in. I closed my locker and saw jai behind. I jumped slightly. "uh h-hi jai". I said. "Hey ariana it's been one week and I've done some counselling and I've changed.you gave me one week and I've helped myself in that week so please take me back I promise i'm a changed person.

I nodded slightly. A smirk came upon his face. I trust him....again. I closed my locker and was starting to walk out the school with jai's around my waist and a smile on his face. He turned me around so we were face to face with eachother. He held my face as we leaned in and kissed. "i missed that" he said.I nodded. I heard clapping.

I turned around and saw justin. I quickly removed jai's arm from around my waist. Jai gave me a cunfused look as I shrugged it off.

Justin walked toward us.He looked hurt. "quite a show you put on there.Look,I came here to give you a ride,but I guess you found someone else. Ariana were done" he said. "Justin wait it's not like that".

"Really then what is it because I saw it for myself.it's ethier me or him.explain. He said.

I was going to say something,but a lump got stuck in my throat and I looked down.

"good-bye ariana" justin said.

"wait" I said as I grabbed his hand. "I said were done Ariana" he said as he pulled his hand away from my grip sharply,shoving me in the process. I fell to the ground and I looked up at justin. I saw a tear roll down his cheek as he walked away from me.

I started crying as I stood up and wiped away the tears that were continuously falling.

"Ariana what is he talking about". Jai said. "N-nothing" I sniffled. "WHAT THE FUCK IS HE TALKING ABOUT" jai yelled. "n-noth-ing jai I see you really haven't changed not one bit." I said. "No I haven't" he said getting closer. I backed away. My back hit the door as I turned around and started running. I ran as fast as I could. There was a bump in the sidewalk and I tripped over it. I fell on hard concrete and I heard ringing.

~End of dream~

I woke up to my phone ringing. I answered it.

"hello"

"Hey ariana" a voice said that belonged to jai.

"hey" I said over the phone.

"it's been a week,now walk to your balcony" Jai said.

I smiled and walked to the my balcony door and I opened it. I saw jai there with roses,chocolate, and a bear with a heart that says 'take me back'.

I walked to him and gave him a big hug and kissed him on the cheek. We walked to my messy bed and sat down.

"Thank you" I said. "You're welcome,and will you take me back?" Jai questioned. I looked down at my feet. I thought about my dream and justin. I felt uneasy. What if my dream actually comes true.What if that was a sign. I don't know about this.

"Ariana" jai said interrupting my thoughts.

"yes?" I questioned. "yes meaning you take me back?" Jai said.

"What? No....I mean I guess" I said.

"yes, Ariana I love you" He said.

"I-" that same lump came back to my throat,and I couldn't say I love you back.

My phone started ringing also cutting me off, which I was glad for. I answered it.

"hello"I said.

"Happy one week anniversary" said a voice that belonged to justin.

"yeah jus-just i'll call you back" I said. That was close I almost said justin.

"But I'm on the balcony" Justin said.

"Yeah go around" I told him.

"ok" He said.

I hung up.

"who was that?" Jai said.

"uhmmm it was just uh lily...yea she wanted some directions the new frozen yogurt place" I lied.

"Oh" Jai said.

There was a knock on my bedroom door. I shot up. "you have to go, you know my family doesn't like you" I whispered to jai.

He nodded. There was another knock on the door. "Ariana are you in there? Justin said. Oh no.

"Who is that" jai whispered. "It's probably just my brother frankie now get out" I whispered yelled".

"ok meet me at La Reve,The resturant across from the beach at 12:00" Jai whispered.

"Ok meet you there" I whispered.

I saw jai walk out to the balcony and climbed down.

I walked to my bed and quickly stuffed the roses,chocolate,and bear under my bed and hung the cover over it.

Running to the door I open it. Justin was standing there with a bundle of sunflowers and a gift that was wrapped.

"Thank you justin" I said grabbing the bundle of flowers and the box. I walked to my bed and sat down. I smiled at my flowers and gift.

"Sunflowers are my favorite,how'd you know?" I asked.

He shrugged. "i figured you'd like them so I pick them out". He said.

"They're perfect" I said.

"you're perfect" He said.

I gave him a quick kiss and opened the gift that was in the box.

I gasped at how beautiful it was. It was a necklace that had J and A on it. "Justin and ariana"He said. I nodded.

"So today i'm going to take you to the beach since it's are one week anniversary". Justin said.

I nodded and admired the necklace that was around my neck. I will never ever take this off.

"Well meet me at the beach at12:30. He said.

"I will" I said.

I gave him a kiss a the cheek and he left.

I smiled at the gift justin gave me. And then it hit me jai and I are supposed to go on a date also. Well the timing is different,I mean 30 minutes difference. I could make that work. Today is gonna be a long day.
