The Title Doesn't Mean Anything (Puzzleshipping)

Chapter 42, Discovery...

*Yami's POV*

7pm, Seto said that we would head out in half an hour but I want to head out now. I wonder if Joey knows that we are going out, maybe I should go and tell him. I made my way to his room and went to open the door but noticed it was slightly open. 

"Alright I'm going to leave now, I'll make sure that Yami comes and says goodbye for now," someone said and I heard that it was Seto. I peaked in and...wait they're kissing!?! I felt myself going red just seeing them and backed away from the door and ran to the next room over. I heard the door close and saw Seto walk past, finally allowing myself to breathe.

I walked into his room and saw that he was rubbing his neck. "H-Hey Joey," I said and saw him silently jump. "Gees man what's got you on the edge huh? I wanted to come talk to you about searching for Yugi. We're going out soon so I wanted to tell you."

"Aha right that's what you wanted to tell me ehehe," he said and let out a nervous laugh. I don't know if I should ask about what I just saw or not...I mean it's fine if they have that relationship because look at me and Yugi.

We just sat in silence so I thought I'd bring it up. "So what is going on with you and Seto eh?" I asked and saw him growing red. Looks like I hit the nail on the head, he wasn't expecting me to ask this.

"Ehhhhh I have no idea what yer talking about bud, why would something be going on me and Kaiba eh?" he asked and looked at something, anything just not at me. 

"I saw you two kiss Joey. Sorry," I said and saw him slump in defeat. "Hey it's all fine, I just wished that you two would of told me instead of hiding it." 

We just sat in silence but this time it wasn't uncomfortable silence, it was a nice one. Seto came in half an hour later and said it was the time. "We'll be back before the night ends. Rest easy Joey because we'll bring him back." I said and we fist bumped. We set out with at least 15 men armed while I had a sword. I'm not too skilled with a gun but I have always trained with a sword since I was little. 

We got to the forest and Seto led us to where he saw Yugi and we kept going deeper into the forest. A man pointed out that there was a cabin just a few feet away. "Alright we're gonna need to be careful here. Team 1 will stay outside while Team 2 will charge in. Have your walkies talkies on stand by and don't put yourself in any danger." Seto said and we split into two. 

I was in Team 2 with Seto so he and another stood eight side of the door while I was in the back. Seto didn't want me too close to the front as I would of been a direct target. They busted down the door and everyone charged in, I followed and grabbed the handle of my sword just to be safe. Two men were inside and held up their hands, just giving up.

"Where is the young boy in your hands!? And don't lie or you will be punished!!" Seto yelled and pointed the gun up. He is being more serious then I have ever seen him before. The two guys told us that there was an underground basement then Seto knocked them out. He called for Team 1 to drag them out and tie them so they didn't run off.  "Yami, I don't want you to come down there. Who knows what they have set up."

"No. I don't care what is down there. Yugi is the main point here and I will not rest until we have him back," I said and Seto just sighed in defeat. We reached a door and Seto went to open it. He looked back at us all and we nodded at him. He bashed the door open and we took it slow. It was slightly dark so a few men put their flashlights on. A cage was up ahead which seemed too simple. 

A guard ran off and went straight to the cage. I manged to catch up to him and grabbed him but we fell over something. I looked back and saw we tripped over a wire. "Yami move!" Seto called and we both rolled over, just to miss a dumbbell from the ceiling. "You! Don't run off on your own. You almost got yourself and Yami killed!"

The guard sunk down and apologized and we both got up. We slowed our pace and got to the cage and peeked inside. He was there...sitting in there chair and staring at the ground. "YUGI! Yugi it's me! Look up!" I yelled and bashed the cage. He slowly looked up...I saw what Joey said. His eyes were lifeless, and he was completely beat up. I wanted to burst out crying but had to hold it together.

We heard people coming down the way we came and we all turned around. "Tut tut. Seems like you couldn't wait," someone said and I was absolutely shocked on who I saw. "But on the bad side I hate to see him be hurt but if it stops him from returning to you, then it has to happen."

He came into view and I went to grab him, but Seto stopped me. "Tell me right now, what is this all about...Atem?" He asked and Atem came closer to us. Seto then put a hand on my chest, pushing me back.

"Can't you see? It's a rescue. Pegasus told me to kidnap him and well 'educate' him into being a normal person. I didn't want to do any more damage to him and so that's why we're here. Also the fact that your little blonde friend found us and we couldn't return Yugi yet. Don't you see? I'm trying to save Yugi. If he stayed at the palace then he would of been hunted down by Pegasus." Atem said and I was just confused.

"So, the reason he is beat up is so you can prove that you are doing your job. But why does he look like his soul has been ripped apart from his body!?!" Seto yelled and whipped his hand around pointing to Yugi's cage. 

"Well I think the reason is when he was getting beat, I had to stand and watch to make sure nothing went wrong. He thinks that, you Yami was the one standing there. That wasn't my fault."

"But it is your fault!! Whatever you did to him made him think that!! If he begins to hate me then I swear to Ra I will make you suffer!!" I yelled and went at him but Seto stopped me. 

"Yami calm yourself. Attacking him won't do anything!" Seto yelled and forced me back. The rest of the men grabbed my arms and forced me to stand down. "Atem, there must something we can do to get him back."

"There's only one thing you can do for now," Atem said and walked past us to Yugi's cage. "Stay away from him for the time being. If Pegasus sees that Yugi is no longer with Prince boy then he will back down."

HE HAS BEEN FOUND!!!! But in what state? Atem tells us what has happened but can he be trusted if he's working for Pegasus? What will Yugi be like when he is set free? How much longer will Yami have to wait to save him? And why the hell am I updating this at 1:50am (my time) when I have a exam in the morning?
