Jack: I opened my tired eyes. I looked around my room. Nothing. I sat up in my bed and unplugged my phone from its charger. I looked to see what time is it. "9:37am" It was very early. I go back to school tomorrow so I need to prepare. I have been doing good. I haven't been beaten or raped for the past few days. I got out of my bed and walked downstairs. "Morning honey." My mom said as she handed my stepdad his breakfast. "Morning" I replied. I made me some coffee and sat down at the kitchen table facing my stepdad. I didn't want to make any eye contact with him. "So Jack. Mr. Fischbach called yesterday.." I jumped a bit. "W-what did he say?" I swear if Mark told her about the fight I was going to kill him. "He told me you should go over to his house to discuss some things." The first 4 words scared me. But I feel relieved. "So Jack. I'm going to drop you off at his house. Get dressed and meet me outside." I just rolled my eyes. "Ok." I ran back upstairs and put on some better clothes. I ran back downstairs. My mom was already outside. I looked at my stepdad. "You have been acting weird lately." I told him. "Leave." He told me. I ran outside and to my mom.
Mark: As I waited for Jack to come over I was playing fetch with Chica. I threw the ball outside Chica ran out the door to get it. She came back with the ball in her mouth then she dropped the ball right in front of me. "Good girl." I said as I bent down to pick up the ball patting her head softly. A car arrived at my house. I got up and looked out the window. Jack came out the passenger seat of the car. He waved to the person who drove him here and the car drove off. I went to the door to greet him. "Hello" I said standing in the doorway. He looked up at me as I standed in the doorway. "Why am I here?" He said rudely. "Come in." I moved out of the way. He walked inside and plopped on the couch. I closed the door and sat beside him on the couch. "Jack tell me. Why are you so mad at Felix?" I asked him. I wanted to get a better explanation of what he and Felix are fighting about. "I told ya! He kept making dumb jokes about me liking you!" He said folding his arms. "Well... Do you like me?" I asked him hoping for a honest answer.
Jack: I turned my head to make sure Mark doesn't see my red hot blushing face. "N-no." I said lying. "Then why does it make you mad if Felix makes jokes about it?" I was stuck. I had to lie. "Because... Uh.. I like Signe..." I said still not making eye contact. I took a glance at him. He looked down I could see doubt in him. "What?" I asked him. "Uh. So why did it bother you that much to hit him?.." "Because Signe would think I'm gay and would not like me back." i said making stuff up. He frowned. "So. Why did you kiss me?" He asked me. I looked at him. Why did I? "I was drunk..." I don't even drink yet. "Oh really?" He said. "Yeah.. I just hid it a bit." He looked back at me. "Oh eh. i just wanted to know what made you so upset. I'm sorry if I caused you any discomfort or any awkwardness.. ." He said apologizing. "Its cool. I feel fine." I said a bit calming. He smiled weirdly and awkwardly. He was smiling on the outside. But I can see sadness in the inside. It confused me... Why was he sad? Did I say something wrong? "What's wrong I could see you're sad.." I said weirdly. Why did I care if he is sad or not?! "Jack. I'm fine. I just wondered." He said lying to me I wasn't going to force it out of the man. "Oh okay." I just sat there in my thoughts as Mark did the same. "I guess I will be leaving now.." I said getting up. "Shit.. I forgot my phone.." I said facepalming how could I be so stupid. "Don't worry use mines." Mark said handing me his phone. "How do you have my moms phone number?!" I said surprisingly. "I have everyones phone number.. Even yours. I save them also." He said smiling. "Oh.." I grabbed his phone and swiped for my moms name. I stopped to a familar name. "Jackibear ❤️" I laughed. "Who is Jackibear?" I asked. "Uh.. Noone!" He said blushing. I pressed the name. Under it... was my phone number. I frozed. Realizing it has a heart by it. "Nevermind.." I said starting to blush. I swiped a bit. I founded "Jackibears Mom" I pressed the name it popped up my moms number. I called her "we talked mom... No this is Jack... Yes I'm ready to go... Okay see ya!" I hanged up and gave Mark back his phone. "Thanks." I said smiling. "You're Welcome.." I sat back down beside Mark waiting for my mom. Ughh this was so awkward. "Why did you put a heart beside my name?" I asked him wanting a honest respond. "I meant to a different emoji I guess I forgot..."
Liar.
I nodded. After long awkward moments of silent and thoughts My mom was here. "Oh she's here Bye Mark!" I said smiling a bit. I got up and walked pass him. "Also Mark... I know you like me.. Isn't obvious?" I said laughing and walking out the door. I heard him yell behind me. "NO I DON'T!" i replied. "YOU DO I REMEMBER JACKIBEAR!" i said laughing I jumped in the car. My mom gave me a sneaky look. "So. You and Mark got something going on?" She said winking. "What No!" "Then who is Jackibear?" She said winking again. "MOM!" She laughed at me and drove off. Little did Mark know. I hacked his phone and got his phone number. I saved it as "Markimoo" with a little 😍 beside it.
