The alarm clock was blaring in my ear, I lazily moved my hand around the bedside table searching for the device that was harassing my ears. I finally have up the blind search and opened my hazel brown eyes slamming my hand onto the treaterous device. The sound shut off and I slammed my head into my head into my pillow muffling my screams.

After I was over my cruel awakening I tumbled out of bed taking my covers with me.

I tell you if I went around looking like this, people would think I was a caveman.

"Good morning Lucy!" Michelle, my little sister, greeted me turning on the lights.

I threw my blankets over my eye while hissing like a vampire."Turn the lights off! It's too early "

Michelle laughed and pulled my blankets away from me then tossed them out into the halls.

"I hate you" I muttered curling into a ball.

"No you don't, breakfast is ready" Michelle left with the door open and the lights on.

I got up slowly and changed into clothes I picked out last night because I know I don't want to do anything in the morning . I picked up my weapons and put them in my hidden pockets then made my way to the kitchen. Michelle was eating cereal at the table while reading the news, I personally am not a fan of breakfast, I swear I'm not anorexic or anything like that, I just don't like eating in the morning. outside  it was still pitch black, shouldn't everyone be sleeping when it's dark outside?

"Lucy come eat!" Michelle motioned me to come sit next to her.

"No thanks, I'm not hungry" I shrugged  while looking at the time.

"We need to leave soon if we want to make it to school on time " I said grabbing my car keys and phone.

Michelle rushed to gather her things and then followed close behind me. Once the car was on I turned up the radio and drove.

" today you will be choosing a partner. This partner of yours will have your back until one of you dies, assassins find a spy. Spy's, find an assassin... any ques- why Yes miss Lucy?"

"Can I use the restroom?" I asked.

"If you really must" she sighed.
I walked out swiftly.
I had noticed that someone wouldn't get a partner because we were an odd number in the classroom. Once I had finished walking around the school. When I went back in there were two people left.

The girl was talking with the teacher, "well my partner isn't here yet"

Mrs Bisca shook her head,"I'm sorry but that is your partner, that's final"

I let out a sigh of relief the girl furiously stormed back to her desk.

I shrugged my shoulders innocently "looks like I'm the odd one out."

I thought it was the smartest plan ever...

"Well miss Lucy I guess-" the teacher was interrupted.

"Sorry! I overslept!" A boy came in with  his shoes untied and a comb still in his messy salmon hair, which in my opinion looked like a pineapple. My heart dropped as I turned around.

"Well looks like your partner has arrived" Mrs bisca smiled.
