This contest will judge the best short story from a prompt. Your entry can either be something you have already published on here, or something you write specifically for this competition, however it has to be based on the prompt that you have chosen.
This is an open to all genres, but must be rated PG-13 or under.
Your entry can be a new story or an old story as long as it is PERSONALLY written by you not by other authors.
Our judges will judge your entry, and rate it out of 20 for:
/5 for grammar and spelling.
/10 for response to prompt. (e.g. extra points for unusual adaptations, like weaving different genres together).
/10 for writing style and originality. (e.g. changing the genre around, and doing the unexpected).
Up to 3 marks may be deducted at the end, for spelling mistakes, grammar mistakes, and exceeding 2000 words, so I recommend a spell check, and word count!

The rounds will be broken into parts. Up to 5 short stories will be judged at a time. Out of all the results, the best 6 will be in the final.
In the final, YOU will be able to vote for your favourite, and to get other wattpaders to vote for their favourite. The person with the most votes will be first, and so on.
