"Ka Suo." Li Luo growled, marching towards him angrily. "What. did. you. do?" She saw the little one's angry gaze directed at his brother when he saw him. Shi even quickly diverted Yan Da away when he saw them approaching.

That was odd. She never saw the little prince so angry at her brother. The child adored Ka Suo so much. Until now. That means his brother did something that really displeased him. Something involving Yan Da because she's the only one who could trigger such emotion on the young prince.

"Well?" She growled when her king didn't answer. Ka Suo chuckled nervously. Letting out a surrendering sigh, when she glared.

"I might have crossed the line?"

"Explain."

"I wanted to know if I'm the one who really marked her. But to do so I have to caught her off guard and check on her core..."

Li Luo looked at him flatly. "You pinned her to the wall didn't you?"

"Y-yeah..."

"And Shi caught you."

"Yes..."

"You." Li Luo twisted his right ear.

"Li Luo." Ka Suo whimpered. She ignored it.

"You better explain it to them clearly or you'll be sleeping outside. Ka Suo for fudge sake! Weren't you thinking at all!?"

"Okay. I admit. I wasn't but I needed to know. I just couldn't believe that I'll mark another other than you!" He admitted. Li Luo let him go. He met her eyes. "I love you."

The queen sighed. "Ka Suo, I know. And I love you too. That's what's important. Besides it's Yan Da who I'm sorry for."

"What do you mean?" Ka Suo asked, frowning.

"I asked her about the mark." She began, looking down at the balcony. Ka Suo followed her lead, eyes on the people below them. Shi, Yan Da, Shuo Gang and Lan Shang who were happily playing tag of their own version.

"She said that the one who marked her didn't know. And that it doesn't matter... because the one who did it is already happy with someone else." She continued.

The king fixed his gaze on Yan Da. "You mean..."

"If it's indeed you who marked her, she loved you so much that she's willing to sacrifice herself and her own happiness." She finished. The mark would never let Yan Da find another. If she would fall in love with another, she'll die. Slowly and painfully.

Shi looked at the screen in horror. "Ge, is that true?" He asked, looking at his brother. Ka Suo was also shocked.

"I- I don't know. Mother and father didn't tell me these things about the mark. They were supposed to after my 130th birthday..." He stopped. All of them knew what happened that day.

"Father?" Shuo Gang asked. Maybe he knew. He looked at her sister on the screen. He didn't want her to die because of accidental marking.

The king sighed, massaging his temple. "What you heard about the mark are true. Yan Da wouldn't be able to love another. If she did, the mark will consider that as a betrayal to the one she's bonded with and will kill her slowly and painfully. So, Prince Ka Suo, I want you to think of what you'll do once my daughter comes back. I'm not talking as the king of fire but as a father. If you could find it in your heart to love her then do so. Even if she'll only be your second queen."

Ka Suo looked at Li Luo. She gave him an understanding smile. He sighed. He's so confuse.

Meanwhile, Shi was battling with his emotions. He felt angry, jealous, hurt and sad. He lost her. The only one who took his heart with one look. He hid a bitter smile. If only...
