Okay, yeah, I know that this is short, but I had serious writer's block. I have planned out the next chapter, so it will hopefully be longer!

Elise spent the next half an hour being filled in on the world of the Greeks. I won't tell you what she was told, as I do believe that if you have read the Percy Jackson books, you will know. And if you haven't, get off of the internet and read them. Seriously.

Once again, I digress.

So Selene filled her in, jumped up, and ran off up the hill with warning whatsoever. Elise had to scramble to catch up.

When they got the top of the hill, Elise's breath caught in her throat. She could only describe it as one thing, and that was home.

But Selene was already running down the hill, so she had no time to saver the moment and was forced to run after her.

When she reached the bottom, Selene led her to the big house in the distance, which, on the way, Selene told her was appropriately named the 'Big House'.

At the Big House, she met a centaur called Chiron (weird enough in itself). She didn't talk to him for long, he just told Selene to take her to the armoury to pick out a weapon. This was more like it.

So Selene took her to the armoury as Chiron had instructed.

"Pick any weapon, but only pick it if it feels like it belongs to you, don't just pick the nicest looking one."

Elise looked long and hard at the weapons. Finally, one in the very corner caught her eye. She looked at the tag underneath it: it read Φως (pronounced Fos). Somehow, she knew that this meant 'Light'.

It was a dagger, made of shining gold. It was about seven inches long and about two inches thick. When she picked it up, it felt balanced and correct in her hand. There was a small, hidden, seemingly irrelevant button on the handle, she would ask Selene what it did.

She had come over, and was watching Elise turn the dagger over in her hands. She smiled.

"Imperial Gold, good choice. That's a special one. If you press that button on the handle, it turns into a bracelet. It will always reappear on your arm, there aren't many like that."

Elise smiled.

"This is my weapon."

"Good timing, dinner's ready. Let's go!"

Selene dragged Elise to get food, and then dragged her to a group of about seven other kids about their age.

"Hey guys!" Selene grinned.

A girl with a long, dark braid down her back turned to her.

"Your back!"

"That I am, young Piper," smiled Selene, "This is Elise by the way."

Selene turned to Elise, "Elise this is my sister Piper, and these are my friends."

Everyone went round in a circle introducing themselves. Next to Piper was Jason, the Annabeth, then Percy, then Frank, then Hazel. Elise suddenly noticed that she'd sat down next to a skinny boy with wild dark curls and a mischievous smile.

"I'm Leo," he said when Hazel had introduced herself, "Don't get on the wrong side of me, I may set you on fire." Elise blinked.

Percy laughed. "Don't worry Elise, he's joking." And so he was, a dancing twinkle had appeared the boy's eyes. Elise laughed uneasily.

Camp Half-Blood was a weird place.
