Chapter 10

*The next morning*

"Baby.. I have a drop to make. You riding or what?" Zadarius said putting on his Air Jordan 11 Low GS'. I sat up and nodded. I walked to the bathroom, washed up, and got dressed. I put on a black long sleeve crop top, white skater skirt, and tall black and white stripped heels. I walked out the bathroom and Zadarius' eyes followed me. "Say man let me call you back.. Damn Alexus..." he said lowering his phone from his ear. I smiled and winked at him. I had my natural look today. Besides some eyelashes I was all natural. I flat ironed my hair and grabbed a black and white stripped purse. "Don't stare so hard.. Your eyes might get stuck.." I said applying some car-max to my lips. "Im sorry but you look good bae." he said standing up. I smiled and we were on our way out the door. I walked towards the car and Zadarius just watched.

When we got in the car Zadarius put some music on and I put on my black Ray Bans clubmasters. I was too cute and I knew it. "You hungry?" I heard Zadarius say over the loud music. I nodded and we went to Dairy Queen around the corner from the house. Simple but good. "Are we eating here or on the way there?" I said looking at Zadarius he got out the car and walked in without saying anything. My mood changed real fast. I got out the car and walked in behind him. Since he didn't say nothing neither did I. "Can I have the number two with mayonnaise, no pickles, and grilled onions with a coke. Can I also have an order of Jalitos with ranch." I said as the lady nodded and wrote it down. When I was finished I turned and walked to a nearby table. Zadarius ordered his food and brought me my drink. I pulled my phone out of my purse and started texting Tatyana.

*conversation*

Alexus: How's My Baby?

Tatyana: He ight.. He miss you. He cried to sleep last nite...

Alexus: Oh My Goshh.. Ima Come See Y'all Today Alright..

Tatyana: Alrite..

Alexus: You &' Zadarius Actin' Funny Today... For Whaaa ?

Tatyana: Its juss one of them days Alexus. Nun personal...

Alexus: Ighttt... See Y'all Later

*end of conversation*

"I need to talk to you Alexus..." Zadarius said as I put my phone down. I looked at him with full attention. "Look... I heard this morning that you been fucking around. So after we eat Im taking you to Tatyana house because you can't stay with me no more." he said dropping his head. I looked at him and laughed to myself. "What's funny Alexus?" he said blankly. "Nigga.. How could I cheat on you? Im with you every minute of the day... And I bet it was a female that told you wasn't it?" I said smiling. "Actually... It was yo gay friend.." he said looking through his phone. "The fuck... What gay friend?" I said looking in his eyes. "Jakenya.." he said showing me a picture. "Nooo.... She wouldn't even say nothing like that. If you want to leave then leave but don't lie on my bestfriend." I said getting up from the table. "Wait... Sit back down.." he said grabbing my arm. "Let me go.. If you trusting everybody else it's no reason for us to be together." I said snatching my arm away. I walked out the door and called Tatyana.

*conversation*

Tatyana: "Hello?"

Alexus: "Can you and Justin come get me please.. Zadarius on some other shit and Im bout to leave him."

Tatyana: "Alright where you at?"

Alexus: "Dairy Queens.."

Tatyana: "Here we come.."

*end of conversation*

I stood in the shade pissed off. Zadarius walked out and grabbed my waist and put his head on my back. I moved and he smacked his teeth. "Why you acting like this?" he said with his arms out. I rolled my eyes. Then I saw Justin's car. I got in the car and slammed the door. "Stop slamming my damn door..." Justin said strongly. "Look Justin Im not in the mood to play..." I said putting my hand over my face. He drove off and I watched Zadarius out the window. I finally grew feelings for him and he does something like this. About five minutes later we were at Justin and Tatyana's house. "Where's Demonta?" I said getting out the car. "He's in the house sleeping." Tatyana said closing the passenger side door. I walked up behind Justin and hugged him. "Thank youuu Justin..." I said in a baby voice. He laughed and pushed me off him. Tatyana and I laughed and walked in the house behind him. Next thing I know I heard little feet coming down the hallway. Monta ran into my legs. "HEYY NANNA!!!!" I smiled and picked Monta up hugging him. I talked to them for a while and went into the guess room.

I walked in and laid all my stuff down on the dresser. "What am I going to do now?" I said out loud. Tatyana walked in, "Stay here... You know we don't mind you staying here." I nodded and smiled. "Thanks Tatyana but I can't just be living off y'all... Ima do something." "What you gon do Alexus?" she said curiously. I thought for a minute and said, "Ima sell dope..." There was a long pause. Tatyana got up and walked to the dresser. "Alexus you know I don't like that idea, right?" she said putting her head down. I nodded. "Well what you doing it for when you can get a job... Mc Donalds hiring.. Jack N The Box hiring. I will have Justin take you to do applications tomorrow. " "No.." I said getting up. "The drug game is so easy.. Why not Tatyana? I promise I won't put y'all in it in no kind of way... I need you to get Justin to see if he can get me one of those warehouses.. I know he got the money and I promise I'll pay back every penny." I said walking back and forth. Tatyana grabbed my arm and said, "Okay.. I'll talk to Justin and see what he can do but how are you so sure that you can do this?" I smiled. "I've been watching Zadarius... He's the biggest drug man in Texas right now. I've cooked it, sold it, and all. I know what Im doing Tatyana." She nodded and walked out the door calling Justin's name.

Tatyana's POV

"JUSTIN!!!" I yelled. Alexus must be out of her damn mind. She sound like she know what she doing though. If this shit go sour Im leaving. I love Alexus and all but Im not taking her fall. "Yea baby?" Justin said from the living room. "Alexus needs a warehouse." I said watching Justin play the game. He paused it and looked at me. "Fuck for?" he said strongly. "Ask her.." I said throwing my hands up in defeat. "ALEXUS!!! Get yo ass in here.." he said standing up. "What is it?" she said with a concerned look on her face. "You trying to sell dope. You know what that shit has done to yo moms and how that life treated Dion. What are you thinking? And why would you do it in a warehouse? Its suppose to be done in a house..." he said slowing down in his speech. I just looked at Alexus' face slumped down. "Alexus I think of you as a sister and for you to go through all the stuff you already been through you want to go to the source of your life problem." he said looking her in the eyes. Alexus face never changed. "Im going to do it Justin... You don't have to get me anything. None of you believe in me... You said the keywords... This is how my problems started. So Im gon take advantage of it..." she said turning and walking out the door.
