The boys and I were waiting for dinner to be made, when we discovered something odd.
"Where's Sam?" I asked.
"Yeah! He always shows up around this time!" Added Matthew.
Sam? Not here? That's strange. Maybe I should go check on him.
"Be right back! I'm gonna go see if he is in his room."
All of the boys shrugged except for Damien. As I stood up to leave, Damien gently grabbed my wrist.
"Huh?" I said startled.
"He um.. wants to be alone right now." Said Damien.
"Oh um.." I paused.
Just as I was going to make a run For it to Sam's room, a tall figure stopped me.
"Oof!" I yelped
"Ah! What the?"
I ran into a strong figure with enough force to push me back a bit. I looked up to see Sam staring down at me with an annoyed glare.
"Watch it doofus!" Said sam with a tense tone in his voice.
"Meep!" No matter how many times I heard sam speak, his voice still intimidated me a bit. He look concerned and I could tell he wanted to ask me if I was okay. Just as he was going to speak, James interrupted him.
"Sam..."
"What?" said Sam clearly annoyed.
"Apologize to Mika." He said sternly.
"I was going to do that before you-" He stopped to look at me with a hopeless look in his eyes. Was he... embarrassed?
"You know what? Fine. I'm sorry for bumping into you!" He said sarcastically. He sat down quietly. I followed after him, sitting down quietly.
Damien was right. He was truly in a bad mood.
"Sam?" As I called his name, his cheeks flushed a light pink. "Are you okay? You have been acting really weird lately."
"I'm fine..doofus." He said. I looked at him once more with a serious look before putting my hand over his. "Do you wanna talk about it?" I asked seriously. "What are you, my mom?" He said jokingly. "Do you really want to call me Mom, Sammy?" I teased. He looked pretty uncomfortable at this point.
"Relax Sam, it's jus harmless fun~"
"Your so uninteresting to talk to" said Sam. Everyone looked to him wide eyed.
I looked at him with a blank stare.
