Eva and Neal arrived home from school around three, David was always waiting for them at the bus stop. They road the bus home because their mother stayed at school after they were released. Eva was actually in her mothers class, only being in the forth grade. Neal on the other hand was in the seventh grade and seemed to usually think he was cooler then his little sister. The blonde headed boy always hopped off the bus first to great his father with a hug. He was average height for his age, green eyes, and blonde hair. Only a few moments later Eva would carefully step off the bus and run for her father. Her pitch black hair in tight curls that ran down to her waist, she looked so much like her mother accept she had her fathers bright blue eyes.

"Dad can we ride today, please?" Neal asked, as they walked down the long drive way. David thought for a moment, Snow had told him they couldn't ride on school days unless they both finished homework.

"Maybe after mom gets home." He told his son, who didn't put up a fight, Eva started to drag her bag, tired of carrying it. David took it from his daughter, who was a little bit smaller then most kids her age. She was just tiny that's all, once she felt the weight taken form her she bolted for the front porch.

"Maggie!" The little girl called, her curls covering her eyes. Maggie is the family's golden retriever, every since they moved to a farm David talked Snow into a dog. Maggie heard the sweet voice of her favorite little human and she came racing around from the back. Eva ran into the yard and met her golden furry friend. She fell onto the grass giggling,

"Eva your getting grass all in your hair!" Neal told his sister, he always tried to watch out for her, even when they weren't getting along.

"Come one kiddos, let's start with your homework." David said, causing both kids to huff in frustration. Eva looked at Maggie, who sat down. "

"I'll play with you when I'm done, I only have spelling this week." She explained to her animal, then she and Maggie raced to the door both running inside. As the kids finished up their homework Snow walked in the door with groceries for dinner. Neal dropped what he was doing and ran to help his mom. He carried the stuff into the kitchen for her.

"Thank you Neal." She said with a smile, kissing her daughters head, then her sons, then her husbands lips.

"Ew." Eva said, she knew her parents got a kick out of it when she made fun of them kissing. Snow rolled her eyes playfully and David tickled her sides. Eva and Neal returned to doing their homework at the bar. Snow couldn't help but notice Eva's hair kept falling in her face, Snow grabbed a ponytail holder and pulled back her daughters hair into a ponytail to keep it out from her face. Once both kids finished homework dinner was in the works. Eva had made it to the couch and was watching a Disney movie she knew very well, Moana.

"Can't you watch something else?" Neal asked his sister who looked like she was almost half asleep.

"No." She said quietly, David looked over and saw his Daughter who had her eyes half way closed with a dog laying in her lap.

"Eva try to stay awake in till after dinner." David called, Eva sat up a little and nodded. David then turned to Snow, "it's not normal for her to be this tired." David stated snow nodded.

"We had a longer recess today, if she is still sleepy after dinner then I'll check her temperature." Snow said quietly.

Neal sat down next to his sister and their dog, Eva handed the remote to Neal before she closed her eyes to take a small nap.

Once diner was down Snow looked over and saw Eva was passed out, and her face looked red. David and Neal sat down to eat while snow got the thermometer from the bathroom. She cheeked Eva's temperature, she had a little fever.

"Sick day for you tomorrow princess." Snow whispered and covered Eva with a blanket. Then she went and sat down next to her husband and son. Being sure to save enough for Eva when she would wake.
