Ships on the horizon

    "I want it to be light."

"OK."

"And I need it to not be scary looking."

"Totally."

"Also, I want a mini fridge in it for snacks."

"Alright."

"I was just kidding."

"Oh."

"But can you do that?"

"Yes." I giggled as I watched the exchange between Ben and Bucky. They were too adorable together. I quietly squealed to Steve as he smiled.

"We need a ship name." he whispered to me. I frowned and looked at him in confusion. He pointed towards the lab and I turned to see Bucky and Ben looking at each other awkwardly. Bucky took his shirt off so Ben could see where the arm and Bucky's shoulder met. Both of their faces were red and they were just making small talk.

"I'm getting them together if it's the last thing I do." I said determinedly. Steve shook his head and carried me into the lab. "So Ben," I said innocently "your girlfriend must be proud of you. You working for the king and all."

"Oh," Ben said blushing "I don't exactly play for that team, if you know what I mean." This was perfect! I grinned evilly as Bucky's face paled when he realized what I was doing.

"Hey are the both of you free tonight at seven?" I asked with a grin. They both nodded looking at me curiously. "Great, because Steve and I aren't so why don't you two go have dinner, get to know each other, and hopefully kiss by the time it's over." With that Steve and I sprinted away, giggling like fiends.

"Do you think it's going to work?" Steve asked anxiously. I motioned for him to wait as I sneaked back to the lab and listened to the future lovebird's conversation.

"I'm sorry if that embarrassed you," Bucky apologized "Thalia's been trying to get me a boyfriend for a while now."

"Oh," Ben said in surprise "I didn't know that you were-"

"It's OK," Bucky cut him off "Not a lot of people expect me to be." They sat there in silence until Bucky finally spoke again. "Hey," he started out nervously "do you actually want to go out to dinner? We could just get to know each other, it doesn't have to be complicated."

"I think I'd like that."
