Alex Castillo's just trying to make the most of his freshman year. He's got the freedom he's always wanted and has the ability to consume copious amounts of alcohol whenever.
Given the circumstances, he should be having the time of his life. And, he would be, if it weren't for the two major obstacles in his life: his horrible calculus class, which can be likened to the seventh circle of hell, and his roommate's boyfriend Chuck, who just sucks.
The way Alex sees it is that he can't do much about the class (he's just got to suck it up and pray that he'll pass), but he can do something about Chuck. So, he does.
