I woke up on my couch, seeing that the TV was off. Flug wasn't laying by my side either. I frowned, sitting up and walking around.
"Flug, are you here?" You yelled. No response.
"Must've went home." You mumbled to yourself, making some pancakes for yourself. You frowned.
Pancakes are Flug's favorite.
You sat at the couch, watching some TV. You grabbed your phone, about to text Flug. You then realized you didn't even have him as a contact. You groaned.
Maybe I'll see him somewhere at a random place? Then I can maybe get his number.
That didn't seem to ever happen, though. In fact, 8 years later, things were the same. But now, your life was pretty depressing. You had no friends, you've gained a little weight, and you rarely ever went out of the house. You basically just lost hope in everything.
You were now 25. You never went to college. You just stayed at home. You've had a few jobs, but you just ended up quitting all of them.
You walked sluggishly to your closet, trying to find some old stuff to sell and make a few bucks. You grabbed a few boxes, emptying them out.
You sighed, looking at all of the old stuff.
You opened the last box, seeing a piece of paper on the top. You grabbed it, looking at it. It was your high school diploma. You still remembered that day. You smiled to yourself. You looked back into the box, seeing a certain business card. You raised an eyebrow, looking at it. Your eyes widened. You completely forgot about this. It was the business card Black Hat gave to you. Maybe you could actually get a job that you liked.
You grabbed your phone, dialing the number that had a lot of 6's. You grew slightly nervous.
"Yes?" The familiar grumpy voice said. That was definitely Black Hat.
"You don't possibly have any job openings, do you?" You asked.
"Indeed. But how did you even get this number?" He asked.
"Well, you see, a few years ago, I went to your school. And after graduating, you umm...you gave me this card." You said.
"Well then, I remember you now. I don't see why you would call almost eight years later, but I won't judge I guess." He said.
"Well, it's a long story. But anyways, what job openings are available?" You asked.
"Well, there's a maid. And there's also a personal inventor." He said. You were definitely not cleaning in a dress. You decided to go with the inventor.
"I'd like to apply for the inventor position then." You said.
"Alright then. Meet me in three hours. I suppose you know where I'm located since you have my card." He said, hanging up.
You smiled to yourself.
After two hours of getting ready, you were dressed up for the interview. Since you finally had bought a car, you didn't have to worry about walking. You sat on the couch, waiting a little bit.
You left the house, arriving at Black Hat's mansion. You were freaking out slightly since he is one of the greatest villains ever. You rang the small doorbell next to the gates. Missiles appeared out of nowhere, aiming toward you. Your eyes widened.
"Who is it?" Black Hat said through the speaker.
"Umm...Y/N L/N...We talked on the phone earlier." You said. The missiles went away, and the gate opened. You walked towards the door, knocking on it. The door opened, revealing a 7-feet-tall bear. That was blue. And was wearing a maid outfit. You stood there, just staring in confusion. The bear smiled, letting you inside. You hesitated, walking in. You looked around. Lots of hat-themed decor. The bear gestured for you to follow him, and you did so. He stopped at a door, smiling.
