This is a diary of my personal experience as a side chick, home wrecker, other woman. No one on the face of the planet knows this about me, until today. As you follow my story, I can only hope that you will leave with a new found sympathy for women like me.

I never wanted this to happen, but it has, and it makes a damn good story.

As little girls, we go through this wonderfully majestic point in time where the reality of real life has not yet tainted us. The most important thing on our minds is canned ravioli and the next episode of Hannah Montana.  We still believe that dreams come true, whatever that dream may be. Maybe yours way to be a mommy with 100 babies. To be a ballerina, or a princess. To be a cowgirl or doctor. Then, we grow out of that wonderfully majestic stage. We realize that car insurance is expensive and a fairy princess only makes 7.25 per hour. So eventually, for one reason or another, the majority of the populations dream dies. Then you find yourself working as a receptionist and you look back at the dreams you once had. You can't help but feel like you disappointed that little girl. How many little girls do you know that dream of being a receptionist or one half of an affair? probably none.

But, here I am. 21 years old. A receptionist. One half of an affair.

It didn't start over night, obviously. I didn't wake up one day and decide "You know what? I think I'm gonna be the scum under someone's shoe today". No, it didn't happen like that. To put it simply, I fell in love. Granted it was with the wrong guy, but it was still love. I was still completely and utterly infatuated with him. I would see his smile and make every excuse I could to see it again. I would put rational reasoning aside so I could justify my actions. I would take 2+2 and somehow come out with 106. The answer I wanted. Although this story is still unfolding in my life right now, I think it only fair to start from the beginning. Once the chapters become real time and relevant, I will let you know.

Thank you for reading. I truly hope you enjoy.
