The Pie With A Shimmer Of Butter

Dark Skies cover the the shimmering sun. Lacey ploped her shoes off and ran to her Ma.

Ma said "Heres your task darling, if you don't finish them you can't go to Auntie Raina's house!"

"I'LL FINISH THEM, I PROMISE!!!"

She adored her Aunt Raina, she liked baking butter pies with her, they would put dough on the flatboard and put some butter inside, it was their secret ingredient (well not anymore lol) then they were sprinkle some coconut on top once it was done baking and mmmmmmm (im making you hungry huh) and they would gather mango and squeeze them unto glass cups and put straws (thristy now too?) in and swing in the swing couch and talk about well anything. She ran to her room and stuffed her items into her harvest box and she stored her precious diary inside her aunties giftbox locket. Its had things that Lacey loved.

"Ma, I'm done with splish splashin' the hard woodin' floor!" Lacey called out

"Good jod Lacey, now dress up to your finest or Auntie would get hmmmm mad?" Ma called out.

Lacey put on her soft gentle bow that ran like the wind and her dress with delightful colors- Baby Blue And Swirly White. She went barefoot onto her horseride with her Ma and Pa inside, waiting. Pa whipped the horses to a hollow house, a brown roof and white walls with a porch swing and FLOWERS! And a old tree! It was night but Lacey didn't mind. They got from the horseride and went inside.

CREAK! Went the wooden stairs. CROAK! Went the frog making loud noises. They opened the door and saw Aunties body on the ground...

"OH MY, WHAT HAPPENED TO SIS!" Ma said.

Pa said "Don't worry, she just fainted!" Lacey stood there staring at the body, a tear went down. What could've happened?

Lacey And Ma cried. Pa carried the body and called the WOODEN SHININ' DOCTOR, WE'LL GET THERE TO YOU QUICK service. They arrived with strong-witted and boned horses. They put the body inside the horseride and they got in. Bump went the horseride but then a horseride carried by, strucking them out...

I'm sorry to say this, but Lacey's auntie died in the crash, the driver, and the parents, it isn't fun to say this. But Lacey survived, blood all over, scars all over, her bow lost. The bow was given from her aunt, the pie whisperer.

She was sleeping that kind of time, she was slowly breathing but they couldn't tell she was alive, well, oldtime doctors didn't have the same suppiles as now, so, can't blame them. Lacey had been brought to a orphanage. Babies crying, kids laughing, teens shrugging made Lacey uncomfortable, why that you ask? Lacey's house was smoothing, silent, and music to her ears.

All this YAKKING UNFORGETFUL RACKET was making Lacey's ear pop. You know when you are reading a book, and someone is annoying you, you would be mad, thats like Lacey, with a wicked frown.

She wished her parents and her auntie were alive, even the driver who drove right and trying to save her auntie. It was so wrong to feel this way if you are a good person.

The co-owner said "This is Lacey Pier Oblinge! You must treat her like a FAMILY."

Family? Lacey got teary eyes. F-Family? She closed her eyes and thought of her family. "SILENCE!" She yelled at the bottom of her lungs. "I'm thinking of m-my family, so please, just whisper!" She whimpered.

Everybody stared at her, then they just shrugged and whispered. Thats it, Lacey thought, my aunties a pie whisperer!
