I laughed before I kissed her cheek & was heading out.
I ran next door. I knocked on the door & Ms. Tammy Ash's mom was leaving.
Ms. Tammy: Hey, Baby! Ashleigh Inside. Have Fun!

I didn't even know where she was going, telling her to have fun. I could be telling her to have fun at the grocery story or the gas station.
When, I walked in Ashleigh was on the couch setting up the scary movies & pop-corn.

Ashleigh: Hey Boo!
I sat on the floor beside her, her curls were everywhere but in her messy bun & she was covered in Spongebob Pj's.
Ashleigh: Chile, House to ourselves! , popcorn with sugar and cheese! , and a scary movie! Heaven or nah?
Then, her older brother, Chris came from upstairs. He had on ninja turtle bottoms with no shirt on. I could tell he had just gotten out of the shower because his abs glistened in the light. "damn." I told myself.
Chris: Where, Ma?
His voice was deep as hell. Dang, I think my hormones are kicking in because I've never looked at him with so many sex thoughts.

Richard was their mom's new boyfriend who Ashleigh hated with a passion.
When the movie ended, Ash was asleep. It was 2am. I doubted anybody else was up so I decided to go pee real quick & go to bed.
I tip-toed up the stairs & when I came out of the bathroom, I ran into Chris.
Me: Oh, I'm sorry.
Chris: Ash Sleep?
Me: Yeah.
Chris: On God, She A Lame.
he laughed. & signaled me to come to his room.
Chris: Wanna chill with me until you fall asleep ... or nah?
of course I wanted to say no but my hormones did the talking.
