The pale, raven black-haired girl stared up at the plain white ceiling with a rather bored facial expression.  Raven let out a rather heavy sigh then she sluggishly rolled out of her comfortable bed which was piled with blankets of all colors and all sorts of plushies, and landed onto the cold, wood floor with a loud thud.
She slowly and dramatically crawled over to her large, victorian-styled dresser then wrapped her ghastly pale fingers around the white dresser handle and pulled it open while mumbling random nonsense under her breath.
Raven then pulled out a long-sleeved shirt which was just your average plain black shirt; which is quite surprising since everything else she wears is covered in patches and pins. Raven pulled the long black sleeved shirt over her black tank top then she threw on a pair of black ripped jeans and then she ran over to her shoe shelve and she grabbed her black converse and laced them up. Raven quickly picked up her black and white backpack from the middle of her floor and walked down the old wooden stairs which led down to the living room, while Raven was making her way towards the back door, she looked at her living room; then chuckled softly "wouldn't it be funny yet ironic if someone were to die in a living room?"  She chuckled once more then she opened up the heavy black and red door which was accompanied with a handle made from pure silver which shined quite  brightly in the bright light of the sun. Raven looked up at the sun and she smiled ever so slightly but even though it was a small smile that only lasted a few seconds it was still a genuine smile.
Raven stepped out of the doorway and she slammed it shut behind her then she began to silently walk down the street which was filled with the loud laughter of children running about, Raven rolled her dark coffee brown eyes at the foolish children, "I may have been a child too but that doesn't mean that I have to like them just because I was also a child once,"  Raven said to herself.  She took out her black headphones out of her backpack then she put them over her small elf-like ears, Raven hummed softly to herself while walking down the street she then stopped in front of a  obnoxiously brightly-colored house which had every single color of the rainbow.  Raven let out a loud sigh, "Crow's parents must have painted their house again" while she shook her head and rolled her chocolate-colored eyes.  Raven walked up the brand spanking new steps which appeared to be freshly polished, the light  sound of Raven's  black converse going up the stairs lightly echoed.
Raven made her hand in the shape of a fist and she loudly knocked on the sea blue door, "I'm coming!" shouted a squeaky girlish voice. The sea blue door opened to reveal a  red headed women who seemed to be about in her thirties.  She wore a dark blue jean jacket which was laced with some sort of animal fur on the cuffs of the sleeves. The women smiled widely at Raven, "hello Raven you must  be here for Crow!  I'll go get him" she said happily.
Raven nodded "alright thank you Mrs. Knox" Raven said monotonously.
Crow run up to the door and smiled happily once he saw that his best friend Raven was standing there on his porch waiting for him "Raven you're here!" shouted the excited white-haired boy.
"Yep I'm here!" Raven shouted back her voice full of excitement, Crow's smile widened and he ran up to Raven then he hugged her tightly.  Raven chuckled and ruffled the albino boy's hair.
"We haven't seen each other in awhile Raven I really missed you" Crow said while making dramatic hand motions.
Raven rolled her eyes "Crow, you're being a bit dramatic we literally hanged out yesterday."
Crow grabbed Raven's shoulders and shaked her "but it felt like forever Raven!"
Raven shook her head and sighed then she lightly pushed him off of her "come on you weirdo, let's go to the woods."
Crow giggled like a five year old and he grabbed Raven's pale hand with his and they skipped down the road while humming a random soft tune to themselves. Raven and Crow then stopped in front of a dirt path which led into an eerily quiet  forest which was quite odd since there's almost always some sort of  bird flying about and a singing a happy little song in that forest.
Raven looked up at the dark night which was decorated with beautiful little lights that twinkled brightly and proudly in the sky. While Raven was distracted by the stars she failed to notice that the red eyed albino boy ran off into the dark damp forest without her. Raven soon came back to reality and noticed that the warmth of crows hand has left hers. Raven's eyes widened in pure terror. "Crow where are you?!" Raven cupped her hands to her mouth and she shouted his name once more "Crow!" Raven then felt a hand tightly wrap around hers "Crow is that you?" Raven could feel crows grip tighten "Crow would you let go of my hand?! You're hurting me!" Raven then heard another pair of footsteps then a voice shouted "Raven I'm not holding your hand!! Quick turn around!" Raven's eyes widened and she quickly turned around only to see a young woman smirking evilly at her "greetings Raven I'm Gwen Ellis and I'm here to take you to my sisters so that way we  can use your pure blood as our blood sacrifice to open the door to another world"
