ROOMMATES//JOSHAYA

Chapter 1

 Riley and I were getting ready for college last week Riley Luca, Smackle, Farkle, Zay and I got our acceptance letter to NYU. We are so excited but I'm more nervous than excited because Josh is going to there. I haven't seen him in a year last time I saw him was in my 17th birthday  

                                       Flashback

" Maya are you excited for your birthday tomorrow everyone going to be there," Riley said but, to be honest I was really worried and sad if josh wasn't going to make it. After all, we are playing the long game but he could still date anyone he wanted but eventually fin our way back to each other. I didn't want to show Riley that I was worried so I just faked a smile and nodded. Then we went to bed in the morning we woke up and got ready I was wearing a blue crop top to bring out the color of my eyes and ripped jeans with gray ankle booties and wore my hair down [...] Everyone was here except for josh I sad but I didn't want people to worry so I faked a smile. Then I went to the kichen and then i felt a pair of hands around my waist that made me jump and turn around quickly. When I did I saw him I jumpped onto him and hug him tight with my legs around his waist. He put me down and kissed my forehead and whispered into my ear happy birthday gorgeous and thta send shivers down my body thta made my knees to go weak.

JOSH POV 

I entered my brother's apartment and saw her, she was in the kitchen doing something I put my arms around her waist and she jumped that made me chuckle quite enough that she didn't hear me. Then she turned around and jumped onto me hugging me and she put her legs around my waist. Then I put her down and kissed her forehead and whispered in her ear "happy birthday gorgeous I know that would cause her knees to go weak. "long game?" and she said "long game". We walked off to the couch and sat down, she told me how she was worried that I wouldn't miss it for the world, Then I pulled out a small box that made her eyes sparkle in curiosity. She then said "Is that for me" and smiled and I told her "I know we are playing the long game but eventually we're going to be together and this is just a little reminder of that" as I said that I pulled a heart-shaped golden locket that had M+J she had a big smile on her face. I asked her if she liked it and she said of course and can you help me put it on me I nodded. She looked so gorgeous and I was happy of the thought of her being mine...
