"Sixteen?!" Chris exclaimed in excitement.
"Yeah! I'm going on Sixteen!" Kenna screamed. The two linked hands and jumped around in excitement.
"Looks like you're gonna debut earlier than me, huh? Don't forget about me when you become a huge star," Chris half-jokingly commanded as the two sat down side-by-side in the empty dance studio.
"Of course I wouldn't leave my Chanichani Buengchen behind," Kenna reassured, letting out a deep sigh of both content and anxiety before leaning her head on Chris' shoulder, "I'm scared, Chris."
"Don't worry, I'll be rooting for you the whole way," he encouraged.

The cameras stopped rolling and the final nine were holding each other in tears of joy. Kenna walked off the stage dejected and on the verge of a breakdown.
Slowly, she trudged to an empty dance room searching for a place of solace and isolation. It was close to eleven o'clock so she knew that only a few stragglers would be practicing.
Not even bothering to turn on the lights and still in her stage outfit, she plopped onto the hardwood floor in the middle of the room and curled herself up into a ball. Silent sobs wracked her body as all of her disappointment and heartache bubbled up past her threshold.
She was sitting in her own bubble surrounded by darkness for what felt like hours, when she felt a pair of arms wrapped around her with a familiar warmth.
"You'll get 'em next time," he whispered reassuringly into her hair, rubbing calming circles into her back.
That night you looked so weak, so small
I couldn't help but feel like
The wind would sweep you away
