What If...

Valentine's Day

It's valentine's day and you're in Stark tower with the rest of the avengers but you're room and the door is locked. You decide to dress in a really baggy jumper and just watch YouTube videos waiting for the day to pass. You hear a knock on the door after an hour or so of being away from the other. You go to open the door just to tell whoever it is to go away. But no one is there, except a medium sized brown bag. You look up and down the hall but no one is there. You bend down to pick up the bag and take it in your room closing the door.

Spiderman was hanging from the ceiling as flat as he could once the door closed he dropped down and silently crept away. He met the others in the lounge. "did she take it?" cap asks. "Yeah, all sweet."

They all let out an audible breath. "now we just have to wait," says Sam.

You sit on your bed with the bag in your lap. You're hesitant to open it because it could be a prank and you really don't need that now. But curiosity gets the better of you and you gingerly open the bag. Inside are an assortment of red and pink envelopes. You take one out and rip it open.

It's a card from Captain America, and little sparkly hearts fall out as you open it. You read it and begin to smile. You dig out the next one, it's from Bruce and there are pictures of you and him that you took inside. One after the other all the members of the Avengers as well as the X Men and your family have sent you their love. At the bottom is a blue one, it's from Loki written in Thor's handwriting. At that, you start to cry. You burst out of the room and out into the hallway toward the lounge.

Everyone turns to you when you reach the hallway and they chorus "happy valentine's day!" you run towards Steve because he's the closest. He doesn't miss a beat and lifts you up and spins you around in a huge hug. He kisses you all over your face in brotherly love. You give everyone a hug and they all kiss you on your face and head.

You suddenly remember something and rush out of the room leaving everyone confused. You come back in camera in hand and everyone sighs but gets together you wander over and Bruce and Natasha roughly but lovingly bring you in between them. You take the photo and many others with everyone. You've taken some beautiful shots and make a note to edit them properly later.

You've never felt more loved ever.

Then there is an announcement over the intercom, it's F.R.I.DA.Y. "Sir, someone is requesting to be let in." Tony briefly looks confused but saunters over to the elevator "let them up."

Tony is standing in front of the doors and you can't see who has arrived. You register his shock through his body language. Who could it be? He turns around still blocking the door. "Y/n, it's for you." As soon as he steps out of the doorway you see Loki in the elevator. He's dressed up in a suit and emerald green tie holding a bunch of yellow roses and the tears come back. You run over to him. Tony barely manages to grab the flowers before they would have inevitably been crushed between you and Loki in a fierce hug. You lift your head to look at him and he's crying too. You kiss him hard and for so long that everyone watching begins to feel a bit awkward.

"Hi!"

He smiles, "hi."

You break away and Tony hands you the flowers grinning.
