The next morning, the first thing I did after getting showered up was connect the pen drive to my laptop. When it finally connected, I came across only one folder in it which was untitled. I clicked on it and then I came across a whole bunch of photos.

I clicked on the first photo and it opened up, revealing a baby Skye grinning at the camera. As I scrolled ahead, Skye grew up, there were photos of a seven to right year old Skye receiving trophies and medals, and many photos were of her and her dad together. Her dad teaching her to ride a horse, them at Disneyland, some goofy photos of them where they made weird faces. Not in a single photo did Skye look sad. But as the photos approached her late teenage, ever next photo looked like it had been taken after a long time.

There we in total 112 photos out of which 90 were her baby pics and childhood and only 22 from her teens.

There was really nothing else and now I felt like a shit head for not listening to her, after all this was her personal stuff. I should probably go and keep the pen drive in its place secretly if she doesn't already know.

There was a knock on the door before I heard Jayden's voice asking to come in.

"Come in bro, the door's open" I said and he came.

"Whoa, that's early for you to be working already" He said as he plopped down on the bean bag and I took the pen drive off.

"Nah, I wasn't working" I said and he raised his eyebrows.

"Its early for porn too then" He said and I rolled my eyes.

"I wasn't watching any porn, yesterday I went to tell Skye the stuff I found out about her on the net" I started.

"What did you find then?" He asked.

"Turns out Skye is a prodigy, her IQ is 164 which is more than Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking, her mom dies when she was little and her father died recently, don't know when but she said he died due to his drinking habits" I said.

"Damn, that's bad" He said and I nodded.

"So when I went to her room last night, I saw this pen drive on her table, she quickly tried to hide it but I stole it anyways, using my ways" I said. In no way am I telling him that I had to kiss her to get this.

"And now that I sat down to check what's in the pen drive and I just came across her childhood pictures with her dad and now I feel horrible for it" I said.

"You should probably go apologize" He said.

"Apologize? Oh come on, I'll just go and keep it back" I said and he shook his head at me.

"You're heartless" He said and we both flinched when the door was pushed open suddenly and Skye came in.

"What the fuck, how did you get in?!" I said.

"Ella gave me the all access card" She said and showed me the card and my eyes widened.

"What!? Ma, even I don't have that!" Jayden said.

"Only me and Ella are supposed to have that and we only use that when needed and definitely don't use it to barge into someone's room" I said and she rolled her eyes.

"I'm just here to take my pen drive so if you're done with it, return" She said and extended her hand.

"I was going to come and give it back to you" I said placed the pen drive in her hand.

Without saying another word, she turned around and started walking to the door again but stopped when she was almost out of the door.

Her head turned to her side before she spoke.
