Monsters No More

No more?

Saitama wakes up from a nightmare filled with evil monsters he could not defeat. Lying down he turns over to see where Genos had left. He came slamming through the door. "MY DOOR!" Saitama shouted. "I have something important to tell you," said Genos, "There have been no sightings of any monsters in the world!"
"Maybe they're just resting," Saitama continued. "Think of it as a day off for us." Genos couldn't deny him. 'Why doesn't he find this weird?' He thought looking over at Saitama, his back facing  him. "Any sales today? For udon, ramen, noodles of any kind?"
"Just spaghetti this time."
"Better not touch my spaghet!"
"Pffft!!!"
At least Saitama got him to laugh. That's all that mattered to him. Seeing him smile. It made Saitama's sprits rise. "Hey, Genos, have you had breakfast yet?"
"No, I have some extra money. Let's go get some." While walking to the place they created small talk. "Have you heard about the Majou girls?" Saitama asked.
"No, what are they?"
"They're a small group of Magical Girls who fight crime under their own agency. I heard about it from Sonic."
"Sonic...? I haven't heard from him in ages."
"He saw two of them get into an argument. Him chasing the other girl off. The one who was attacking."
"We're here, Master."
"Stop calling me that!"
Walking into the café they noticed a small girl with a majou-like outfit on and thought nothing of it. The waitress came out. "I'm Mizuki. Let me be at your service today!" Saitama and Genos gave a smile to the waitress.
"May I ask what would you like for drinks?"
"Matcha."
"Water."
"Coming right up!"
They saw the waitress leave and started talking about their orders.
"Saitama, what do you want to order?"
"Mmm, Aha!"
"What is it?"
"Tamagoyaki!"
Genos laughed as he found something. A meal fit for a king.
"I want the King's breakfast."
"Geez, that's a lot of food."
The waitress came back and took their orders. Saying the same things as she leaves with a smile. As she left, Genos saw a sad looking young girl. Saitama gave him a look.
"Behind you."
Looking behind is chair he asks the young girl a question.
"Is everything alright? Why do you look sad?" All she did was shake her head as if nothing was wrong. She still felt uneasy. Saitama could feel this tension in her heart. Signaling him that something was wrong. Their orders came and he forgot all about it. The girl, still uneasy, gets up, passes a note, places it on Saitama's and Genos' table, silently thanks them and leaves.
"What could this note possibly hold?"
They opened up the note and read it aloud.
