Chapter 2 the heartfillia comes out

The girl that begged Mrs. Bisca to wait for Natsu is now furious with me.

"I'm Natsu, so I guess you're my new partner, sweet!" Natsu grinned plopping down in the seat next to me. I still was upset; I know it could have been worse but that doesn't mean I was happy with my situation.

"I'm Lucy, please try not to be late when we meet up, I have a problem with people being late," I smiled at him.

Natsu shrugged giving me the 'no promises' look and I couldn't help but laugh until I could feel that girl staring at me like if she stared at me intensely enough I could be fried, but I wasn't a chicken so I stared right back at her

"do you have a problem with me?" I asked folding my arms.

She stood up and shrugged lightly, "well I can't lie, I would love for you to be my first assassination!" She tilted her head causing her white hair to fall in her face like an idiot.

I laughed and stood up, "first?! You've never killed anyone before? Why are you in an advanced class then? Hmm?"

She gritted her teeth and stared at me, "let's hope no one cry's to mommy!"

My eyes darkened making the stupid girl laugh, but before she knew it my favorite dagger was to her throat in the mirror we had I could see her eyes widen and Mrs. Bisca looked up from her papers to watch. She kneed me in the gut which did absolutely nothing then she grabbed a blade of her own and pointed it at my head. I smirked realizing she forgot I had two hands and looked at her feet, she was no ballerina that's a fact. I kicked her shin causing her to squeal like a pig and grabbed her other hand to avoid being cut.

I heard Mrs. Bisca's laugh, she was practically begging for more. "
Lisanna, you need to work on your balance Hun."

So that was the brats name... huh, I didn't expect that. Lisanna stared at me frightened, "who are you?"

I dropped her and tilted my head so my bangs would get out of my eyes, I stood firmly and emotionless," I am Lucy Heartfillia"

The looks people gave me made me squirm.

"daddy are you proud of me? I didn't cry when the man dies this time!" I skipped next to my father as my Dad walked beside me and my mom stopped, whipping her head to stare right at Dad.

"Jude! I told you Lucy is not an assassin! How dare you bring my daughter into your dirty work!"

I saw my mother's anger bubbling to the surface like she was a volcano that finally popped. My father smiled shrugging as if trying to save her the trouble "Lucy is a Heartfillia Layla, and as you know Heartfillia's born under the name are made to be heartless killing machines"

"that is exactly the problem! I don't want Lucy to become heartless at all! What a hurtful thing to say!"

Jude laughed," Lucy is from my family and will beco- "Mom slapped him so hard that she scratched his face.

"I will never approve of Lucy being in this family business of yours," She spoke in a hushed tone.

"I see how it will be," dad's eyes darkened and I whimpered as mom picked me up.

Shortly after that she died from a car crash that no one saw coming. Then Michelle moved in, Michelle was actually my cousin but I always called her my sister.

Crunch... Crunch crunch.

I was pulled back into reality by Natsu eating potato chips. I walked over Lisanna and sat back in my seat. I took a chip from Natsu's giant bag of chips, Natsu stared at me offended.

"I heard it's rude to stare, what's the lesson plan?" I asked leaning back in my chair.

"why did you steal my chip?" Natsu asked staring at me

I took a hand full from his bag and shrugged," I'll get you some food tomorrow, or something"

I smirked and grabbed another handful so Lisanna could see me eat them. I laughed to myself knowing I had just made an enemy.
