Your neck aches as you awaken from the loud buzzing next to your bed side. You lazily sit up and turn off the alarm. Your screen read 7:30am. You smile sleepily thinking about how today is the first day for your new job as a teacher at Seoul west daycare center. You love kids so much. Their innocent imaginations and cute smiles instantly warm your heart. You want some of your own but ... you've never really dated anyone. Sure, you have had crushes, but none fell through. But That didn't really matter to you.

Your bones crack as you slowly stand up and stretch out of your minty pastel covers. You start getting ready by putting on a soft white button down dress shirt and nice black pants. So professional yet comfy. You ruffle your short black hair to ease the mess. The smell of fresh roasted coffee starts to fill your room. You take a deep breath in at the delicious smell and automatically follow the odor. Once you reached the end of the apartment stairs your flat mate, Kota , stepped out of the little kitchen.
" I made your favorite~" he said sweetly.

You smile back "why so nice this morning?"

"I just heard that it's your first day with the new job you have been babbling non-stop about for the past month"

You take the mug out from his offering hand. "That's really sweet of you, thanks" you said, you take a long sip and feel the warm peppermint hit your tastebuds. You sigh with relief.

You check your appearance one more time before saying goodbye to Kota and head off.

Once you show up to the small cream colored building, a huge smile grows on your face. You excitedly walk though the doors only to be greater by a small elder women. You bow and greet her.

"Hello, I'm the new teacher here?" You say hoping she worked there.

"Ah! Yes hello Mr. (Y/N) " she said " You showed up right on time. We could actually use your help right now."

"I'm all ears" you said happily.
The lady smiled and opened the light pink colored doors.

Screaming children erupted from the opening, toys were being thrown around and kids no more than toddlers ran around. You smile at the elder " well I'm off! When do the parents start coming in?"
She smiled tiredly "around 5pm"

You nod and walk into the busy room. You squeeze your palms together to calm your nerves.

Just as you go to walk over to a group of kids, a man catches your eye. You look over to see him sitting on the floor trying to calm down a child that seemed to be throwing a fit. His face had the look of panic at his failure. You quickly walk over and and a cookie from the little snack bin on a shelf. The man looks at you as you bend down and tap the little boy.

"Excuse me? Is something wrong?" You say in a sweet voice.

The child wipes his eyes "I want to go home!!! I don't like anyone here!!" He yells.

You frown " not even me?" You say in a fake sad tone.

The kid looks at you for a second before yelling again "no! Not even you!"

You pout " well if I said I had a present for you would you like me then?"

The youth hesitated "w-what kind of present?"

You smile softly " I can't tell you, it's a surprise~"

He nervously twiddled his thumbs "okay ...... I don't hate you ....." he said poutfully

You slowly take the cookie out from behind your back. His eyes light up with joy as he reaches for it, "thank you!!!" He said taking a bite and walking away.
