It was a Sunday morning when Amara decided to go outside for a walk, she let her feetguide her where it would take her. While walking, she saw a girl making a mural on the wall. She was so amazed by the art that the girl was making then the girl noticed her. The girl noticed her and asked her if she wants to try it. Amara was hesitant at first but the girl encouraged her to do it, she said that it helps her express her emotions. Amara tried it even though she is not really good at painting and she enjoyed it, she also enjoyed the company of the girl named Dawn.

They got along pretty fast knowing that Amara is not a very sociable person, she just felt so comfortable with Dawn that she told her almost all of the things about her, even her problems. She told Dawn that she's been through a lot this year and she is having a hard time accepting herself. She also said to Dawn that she almost killed herself multiple times. Amara got carried away and accidentally made a mistake on the painting, but Dawn said that its okay because that mistake actually made the painting looked amazing. They finished the mural with content in their eyes and Amara was so proud of herself because she did something she never did before. Amara was quite sad because she has to say goodbye to a friend and she has to go back to reality, so they decided to hang out for a couple more hours. As a thank you gift ,Dawn gave Amara a compass. Amara was confused at first but she kept the compass anyways.

They decided to hang out in the woods and they stumbled upon a very rare rose, but it was completely covered in thorns. Amara really wanted the rose because she believed it would make her happy, she noticed that there is another way but it's too long. Dawn said that she doesn't really need it anyway and have to start heading home because its almost night. Amara and Dawn argued because of the rose and Amara said that Dawn should go home bacause Amara will still get the rose, she's also angry at Dawn because she thought she would understand that Dawn would understand her. Amara left without Dawn, she started heading where the rose is but when she got there the rose was already gone she left the place disappointed and she started regretting going there because its almost dark. On her way home she noticed that she was going in circle and she concluded that she is lost. After several hours she is still lost and she almost gave up until she realized she can use the compass that Dawn gave her. In her mind she thanked Dawn because even though Dawn is not there, she still saved her. Then after a few minutes she found Dawn holding the rose rose with cuts all over her body while waiting for her. She hugged Dawn with tears on her face not because of the rose but, because Dawn helped her find her way back. After the incidentshe realized that she almost lost the person who cared for her for something that she wants and not necessarily need. Amara said sorry and thanked Dawn for everything. Dawn said that she got the rose because after she left, Dawn realized how much Amara wanted the rose and how that rose would make Amara happy and could help her cope with her sadness. Dawn handed the rose over to Amara but then when Amara held the rose she got pricked and her vision turned black.......

....Amara woke up in her room because of the alarm clock. She sat down on her bed and tears run down her cheeks. She feels happy and contended. She looked at the clock beside her bed 9:00AM, Sunday.
