If I'm James Dean, You're Audrey Hepburn

Chapter 1.) Long time no see Kell.

"Hey Jazmin! So I was on twitter yesterday and sleeping with sirens posted this thing about a competition. Evidently warped tour agreed to have a band play all summer long and all the band has to do is play a song for Sleeping with Sirens and they will pick the band that they like the most." my bass player/singer/bestfriend Caitlin said excitedly she wasn't a big fan but it has always been our dream to play at warped. I had to put on a smile but inside I was heart broken. I'll tell you a little about myself and why this broke my heart.

I'm jazmin and I just turned 20 and my bestfriend is Caitlin. I met caitlin when i moved to maryland. Caitlin and I thought of forming a band at a young age but for a while we stopped talking and we started talking again in highschool but never mentioned the band. And once we graduated i asked if she remembered us talking about it and she said yeah! So we took it more seriously and actually made it offical our band is called Die With Life and it consists of Me on drums, Caitlin on bass and vocals, Heather on rhythm guitar, Dustin and Dominic on lead guitar.

Caitlin and I may be bestfriends but what she doesn't know is that I actually know Kellin Quinn in fact we were bestfriends when I lived in Ohio(I don't know if he lives there just made it up.) Kellin and I were always together and I always thought that we would be bestfriends but one day he told me something that tore me to pieces i still remember it like it was yesterday. We were both in about sixth grade. We were sitting on a porch swing I was laying with my head on his lap and he was playing with my hair.

"jazmin, I have to tell you something." Kellin said his voice caught at the end.

"Well what is it Kell?" I asked using the nickname I had given him when we were younger.

"Well I know this is gonna be hard. But I'm m-moving." He said stuttering.

"It's okay Kell, you act like we won't see eachother we'll still see eachother everyday. right Kellin? You wouldn't leave me would you?" I asked trying to sound hopeful but deep down I knew that he wasn't just moving down the street because if he was he wouldn't sound upset. And I wouldn't be on the edge of tears.

"I'm sorry Jazzie you know that this is the last thing I wanna do. you're my bestfriend. But don't worry we'll talk every day right?" he said with tears in his eyes. and on the day that he left he kissed my cheek and I begged him not to leave me but he told me to stay strong and he would talk to me soon. I made him pinky promise. And little did I know that we would talk a couple times and he would stop talking to me. He never tried to contact me after that. I was heart broken I liked Kellin more than a bestfriend. And he just broke our pinky promise.

And the next time I heard about him was senior year when I heard these girls talking about a band that they found on YouTube and the band was called Sleeping With Sirens and they said the lead singer Kellin Quinn is so hot! I stopped dead in my tracks my pulse quickened and I went up to the girls and asked why the bands name was again. And that night I went home and looked them up and I got lost in Kellin's voice the one that sand to me when I was sad. And all the years I spent trying to forget him went to waste as all the memories flooded back. (anyways back to the story.)

"That's great!" I said trying to hide the sarcasm in my voice.

"Well I say we go for it. It's next Friday in New York. We can fly up there the day before and stay in a hoteland try. What do ya say?" she asked with hope in her voice.

"I guess, we'll get together at my house and have a band meeting and we can ask what everyone else says." I said knowing Caitlin would never let me live it down if I said no.

"Oh THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! " she yelled. Hugging me.

"No problem I just want to get to see our fans." I said
