~ To start off I thought I would give you one example of a fully written request; What kind of food would they prefer to eat? ~

Dwalin; I think he, like most dwarves, prefers to eat meat. However if you were the one to cook the food he would at least try to eat the vegetables. That doesn't say that he wouldn't put the veggies out of the basket as soon as you look the other way at the shop. Just to make sure that you don't cook any of those disgusting things for dinner.

Thorin; He would also prefer to eat meat and only eat vegetables if you had been the one to prepare dinner. However, seeing the smile on your face as he finishes his plate every night would keep him from hiding the veggies. He doesn't hate them, he just prefers to eat meat.
For you though, he would do anything.

Bilbo; He would definitely prefer to use many varieties of vegetables, fruits, meat and all kinds of desserts. Every night he would help you cook, making every night special because you cooked your meal together.

Every now and then he would stand behind you to 'help you chop something'. Even if he knows that you are very capable to do that on your own.

Legolas; Definitely goes for the greens and doesn't want a slice of meat. Not even if it would make you happy. He would probably take you outside to meet all of his forest friends if you did put meat on his plate.

The cook would cook for you every night. Legolas would watch very carefully if you liked what was on your plate. Traveling around he would know some recipes of his own, vegetarian recipes.
