Today was you and Liam's anniversary. The time was set at 7:30. He was late about an hour. It was 8:30.
"Where the hell is he?" You muttered to yourself, looking at the time tick on your phone.
Your head tilted up to see Liam walking with a bouquet of roses in his hand. His head was low, until looking up at you. His eyes were full apology, with a hint of humor.
Clearly something happened, for him to be late. As he came closer he had a smirk on his face. He slid into the seat before looking you in the eyes.
"What happened?" You asked knowing it was something stupid.
"I fell in a hole." He said proudly. You shook your head.
"How'd that's happen?" You asked holding in a laugh.
"Well I was walking to meet here. Then there was a big hole, it caused me to fall in it." He explained.
