Lainey jumped up out of their bed screaming, they were covered in sweat & their nightmares had been getting a lot worse lately. It's been almost a year since them and Greg broke up and they were feeling very lonely & they hated sleeping alone. Lainey looked at the clock it was 6:30 they had 20 minutes before they had to be up for work. They got out of their bed and headed for the shower. While they were in the shower they kept thinking about the nightmares that they've been having lately "I'm so tired of being so fucking groggy! I can't sleep anymore,maybe I should try and get back on the market? no it's too early me and Greg just broke up... maybe I should call Greg... no no no that's even worse idea! maybe I can go see what the Dr. has to say?...yeah I'll do that after work today." They got out of the shower and dried their hair. They put on a blue button up and some skinny jeans. Lainey couldn't help but admire themselves in the mirror. "Damn daddy looking Sharp!" Lainey looked at the time it was now 7. They went to the cabinet and pulled out a granola bar,grabbed their camera and walked out the door. It was a beautiful sunny day and there wasn't alot of hustle in the streets. Lainey pulled out their phone and looked at their assignment for the day.
-go to the market and take photos for the new issue of the magazine.-
Because the day was so nice Lainey decided to walk to the market. When they got to the market they instantly started taking pictures. They lost track of time and before they knew it they had taken over 300 photos. Laney decided the 300 was more than enough and decided to walk home. They weren't paying attention as they were walking because they were shuffling through the photos on the camera. !!!BOOM!!! Lainey fell to the ground when they looked up they were startled. They had to run into a girl and the girl was still on the ground. Lainey jumped up and ran over to the girl. "Oh my God are you okay?!?" Laney held their hand out to the girl & the girl grabbed it. "Oh yes I'm fine I'm so sorry I'm such a klutz I should really watch where I'm going." "No that was all my fault I was looking at my photos I should have been watching ware I was going." Laney now looked at the girl and instantly their heart started rushing the girl had long brown hair, she wore a cute pair of little glasses, her face was speckled with freckles, and she had the most beautiful green eyes.
Lainey didn't notice how long they were staring at the girl and that they still haven't let go of her hand. "Um are you ok?" Lainey broke free of the trance. "Oh God yes I'm sorry I've just never umm I've just never seen someone as beautiful as you." When they realized what they had said they instantly turned red. "IM SO SORRY I DIDN'T MEAN THAT, MEAN I DID BU-." The girl took Lainey's hand. "shhhh I'm Sarah you're really adorable." She let out a little giggle. Would you like to get some coffee?" Lainey could feel their heart beating out of their chest so much so they we're pretty sure Sarah could hear it.
" Um sure... Uh my name is Lainey."
"Lainey? I like that...well come with me Lainey." Sarah took Lainey's hand and started walking down the street.
" Um Sarah I'm pretty sure the coffee shop is in the other direction" Sarah smiled and Lainey felt their heart melt. "Well who said anything about a coffee shop?" Lainey was confused. "Well um where are we going to get coffee then?" Sarah smiled sweetly again. "well my house!" "Oh okay..."so many thoughts started going through Lainey's head and again they lost track of time. "Well this is it." Lainey looked up and they were at the door of a small house. Sarah pulled out the keys and opened the door. "Have a seat wherever you'd like I'll get the coffee started." Lainey walked into the living room and started looking around,there were so many pictures and they were all so beautiful. Sarah walked in the room. "Do you like them?" Lainey was quite for a moment. "Yes oh my God these are amazing." Sarah smiled. "Well thank you I take alot of pride in my work." Lainey looked up astonished." Wait you're a photographer?" Sarah gave a sweet smile and giggled again. "Yes and assuming from the camera you are too." Laney had forgotten about the camera around their neck and reached up and touched it. "Oh yeah I work for life magazine..." Sarah looked impressed. "You must be really good." Just then a dinging noise came from the kitchen. "That's the coffee I'll be right back." Lainey watched Sarah disappeared into the kitchen and then reappeared with a tray of coffee cups, a coffee pot, and some cookies. She walked over to the couch closest to the coffee table and sat down. Lainey was still standing in the same Corner as when they walked in the door, Sarah patted the seat next to her. " Why don't you come have a seat next to me?" Lainey feeling stupid for not sitting in the first place walked over and sat next to Sarah. Sarah poured Lainey a cup of coffee.
" So Lainey do you know any jokes? I love jokes." Lainey perked up I actually do." Lainey began telling jokes and the more Sarah laughed the more Laney began to fall for her. They talked for hours and then decided to watch a movie. Halfway through the movie Lainey look down Sarah had fallen asleep in their lap. Lainey looked at the clock it was 11:30. Laney slowly began to drift off into unconsciousness.

"Hey wake up sleepy."
Lainey's eyes flew open. They Didn't know where they were, they looked around the room. Sarah was standing at the door. "You fell asleep last night." Lainey began to remember what had happened. "Oh yeah I'm so sorry... what time is it?" Sara Smile that sweet smile that melted Lainey's heart. "It's fine... It's 12:30." Lainey looked confused. " In the afternoon?!" Sarah looked concerned and walked over and sat on the couch. " Yes why?" Lainey looked into Sarah's beautiful green eyes. "Oh it's nothing I just can't remember the last time I slept this long, I usually have these awful nightmares that keep me up all night, I was going to go to the doctor yesterday to see if I could get it some medicine for it..." Sarah came and sat extremely close to Lainey and Lainey's heart started rushing again. "well you didn't have any last night did you?" Lainey looked at Sarah she was practically over top of Lainey now. Their heart began beating faster.
" Um well... No" Sarah was practically straddling Lainey now. "Well it looks like I'm the only medicine you need." Sarah grab Lainey's face and pressed her soft lips against Lainey's. Lainey felt their heart beat fast but kissed Sarah back. The kiss became very passionate and deep. The two finally pulled apart. Sarah smiled at Lainey.
" Let me be your cure every night."she pressed her lips back against Lainey's and began unbuttoning their shirt. Sarah grabbed their hand and pulled them into her bedroom.

"Honey did you take the kids to school already?" Lainey looked at Sarah. "Yes I did I wanted to spend the rest of this morning with you." Lainey pulled Sarah to their chest. "I'm so glad I bumped into you." Sarah stared deep into Lainey's eyes and smiled. " I'm so glad I bumped into you." They pressed their lips together and gave passionate kiss. They pulled apart and looked deep into each other's eyes. Lainey kissed Sarah's nose."you and me forever baby." Sarah buried her face in Lainey's chest. " You and me forever."
