The night went by quickly, as did the flight to America. None of us were sure we were ready to take the last part of the trip, there were so many more things that Luke could see! But then again, it was his choice, so we did it for him.

Arriving in Hollywood was like taking a deep breath for the first time in days. I had had a horrible thought in the back of my mind that Luke might not make it here, and here he was moving his head to the beat of some Panic! At The Disco song on the airport radio. Calum and Ashton snuck up behind him and lifted him to where his left leg was on Cal's right shoulder and his right leg was on Ash's left shoulder. He raised his arms up and they began to carry him out of the airport, grinning. I ran after them and they began to run away from me. It became an intense chase, and all I wanted was to get my boyfriend from the evil Cal-Pal and smAsh.

Eventually I caught up to them outside of the airport and I lifted my boyfriend off their shoulders. He pouted, his lip ring gleaming in the sun, but reluctantly took my hand as we stepped on to the sidewalk to call a cab.

We all squeezed into the backseat of the cab and paid the cabbie to take us to our hotel. We got a suite on the top floor so that after we left the Hollywood sign we could still see it out or window. The cabbie dropped us off at our hotel and we brought our suitcases inside the room, unpacking immediately.

"Mikey, I thought we'd let Cal and Ash go to the Hollywood sign now by themselves, and then you and I can go together tonight," Luke said, smiling. I nodded in agreement, and hugged him. We hadn't hugged properly in a while, and it felt right.

"You made it Lukey, you're alive. I told you you would be," I whispered. He looked at me, with tears in his shiny sapphire eyes, and crashed our lips together. Neither of us cared that Calum and Ashton were both still in the room, we were just letting it happen.

"I love you."

"I love you too," I said, and we broke apart. Calum and Ashton erupted into applause and Luke and I both flipped them off.

"Okay, love birds. We're going to go make out under the Hollywood Sign, laters!" Calum said, sounding rather cheeky, before taking Ashton's hand and leading him out of our room. It was only five p.m., giving us roughly 3 hours before it would be dark enough to go to the Hollywood sign. Luke ran over to his suitcase and took out a DVD. He popped it into the hotel DVD player and pressed play. Mean Girls started to play, I should've known, and Luke pulled me into bed with him. We laid down and Luke curled up as close as he could to me. His warmth burned across my cold skin and the sensation was wonderful. I out my arm around his waist and I dragged my nails across his lower back. He squealed a bit and then giggled at me. While his mouth was open I took it as an invitation to kiss him, his mouth stayed open in shock, so I slipped my tongue in. He tasted of sour candy, and I loved it. I swished my tongue around and tugged at his lip ring with my teeth. It was a good three minutes before I realized he was trying to get my shirt over my head.

This was going to be a fun three hours.
