Chapter 2

I get on the highway speeding so I can get to the location alf told me to meet him at as quickly as I can. I've got so many thoughts running around my head. What if he's being held hostage? Maybe he's just left because he's stressed about a-levels?
I'm interrupted by the sound of my phone ringing. Shit it's Alfie's mum.. I pick up.

Mrs j: jessica darling, where are you you finished school 30 minutes ago?

I try to think of a valid excuse that she will believe, I don't want to let her know I'm meeting alfie in case he doesn't want her to find out that he's alive.

Me: hello mrs j, I'm so sorry but I'm not going to be able to make it I just remembered I have a doctors appointment, I tried to rearrange but I can't.
Mrs j: ah okay that's fine sweetheart, well you know you're welcome whenever you want to come over
Me: thankyou mrs j, i had best get going my appointment is in 2 minutes

I hit the end button to hang up, I'm here
exactly where alfie asked me to meet his friend, there's nobody here? I'm debating calling alfie back when I see a black Mercedes Benz pull yo in front of my car. The most gorgeous man I have ever seen got out and walked towards my car. I put my window down so I could speak to him.
"Jessica Thompson?" He says looking at me with his gorgeous hazel eyes staring right into mine.
"Yes that's me, you must be Alfie's friend?" I ask, I watch his face as he replies. He opens his mouth and I see his grills reflecting the sunlight, his cheekbones& jawline are so perfect. His hair in curls looked so effortlessly gorgeous.

"Yes I'm here to bring you to alfie, would you like to get into my car?" I sit staring at him in shock of how hot he is.
"Hello Jessica? Are you okay?" He says as I snap back to reality, embarrassed I feel myself blushing.
"Oh sorry.. yes, just let me grab the snacks I have in my backseat." I reply

"You can just get into the car, there's plenty of your favourite snacks in the back" He says in his beautiful deep voice, chucking at the end of his sentence.

How does he know my favourite foods? I let the thought slip my mind, alfie probably told him.

I slip into the back seat and look into the rear view mirror. God I look a mess, I came straight from school & ive been crying so my makeup is all messed. I don't even know this mans name yet I think to myself so I ask him, " I forgot to ask your name?" I ask giggling to myself
"I'm Lucas, Lucas Coly" he replies
"Shit, Lucas Coly as in the most wanted gang leader in London?" I reply, feeling myself get slightly scared.
He laughs to himself, "yes, Lucas Coly as in the most wanted gang leader in London"
I freak out. I've got so many thoughts running through my head.. what if he's going to kill me and alfie?? He looks at me thru the rear view mirror and smiles. He pulls over the car and I freak out, he gets out without saying anything and opens my door. He gets a bottle of pills out of his pocket.
"Here, take this" He says handing me a pill
"What is it?" I ask
"Your pulls you take for anxiety, I figured you may need one you look nervous."
"Oh. Thanks I guess, how do you know my favourite snacks and the pills I take??" I ask
"I've got my ways" He says, winking at me before shutting the door and getting back into the driver seat.
I struggle to keep my eyes open as my medicine kicks in, I fall asleep.
