Life is hard. I mean its not really that hard maybe for you but it's really hard for me. I didn't want this life. In fact I specifically asked for my life to be easy. But I guess you can't always get what you ask for. My name is Miranda McLamb, and I'm dead, but before I get to the part where I died I want to tell you my story.

My story doesn't start with me but with my sister. She was always the pretty one. She always got whatever she wanted including boys. Including the boy I wanted. she had the blue eyes and blonde hair that I wanted the perfect body. I was stalky and had very brown eyes with flex of gold that everybody said was "cute". My sister is beautiful.

It all started on August 23, 2000. It was a hard summer day, the temperature I remember was up in the 80s or 90s. Really hot for Maine, I also remember it was really green. Not just because of the trees even the sky had a greenish tint I think. Most people in the sky think I'm crazy when I say this part but its true. I swear.

The day I turned 16 I went into school and walked in like I normally did, no friends sweatshirt pulled up, hood on. I went to my locker only to be surprised by a visiter. My sister walked up an said "I know what day it is."
