"Say what now?" I responded. I think he said I had God's soul but that can't be right.

"You have God's soul." Crowley repeated. Well shitI thought to myself. I looked over at Sam and Dean for guidance on what to do, but to my dismay, I saw Dean walking away.

"Dean!" I called after him. He didn't look back. I left the scene behind and ran after him and finally caught up with him in the library. "Dean." I reached out and grabbed his arm to stop him.

He turned back to look at me and I saw tears in his eyes. "What do you want?" He croaked out.

"What's wrong?" I asked in concern. In response he looked down and just shook his head. "Dean, I'm still me! I'm still the same girl that you saved at the convenience store!" I held his face trying to make him look at me but he wouldn't.

"You're not the same girl. You heard what Crowley said. You heard what Gabe said for crying out loud. You're God! I'm sorry but I just can't date God."

He pushed my arm away and walked away.

"Dean, no! I'm not!" I cried out but it was too late, he was gone. I felt a tear slip down my cheek and I quickly brushed it away, shaking my head to see my damp palm.

"Stella?" I heard Cas's voice behind me. I turned to look at him and concern washed over his face when he saw I was crying. "Are you okay?" He said in concern and stepped towards me but stopped when I stepped away.

"I'm sorry, I just need to be alone." I shook my head and ran up the stairs and out of the bunker. I welcomed the cool air that danced across my cheeks as I ran out and away from the bunker into the trees. When I found a clearing I sat down in the grass and started crying harder than I've ever cried before. "WHY ME!?!? WHY WOULD YOU CHOOSE ME!?!?" I screamed to the sky as tears spilled across my face. I finally lied down in the grass and watched the clouds change color above me as the sun set. "I'm not good enough." I whimpered which brought on more tears.

"You're wrong." I heard a soft voice say. I sat up and saw Cas staring at me.

"What are you doing here, Cas?" I said through my tears.

He didn't respond to my question and instead walked over to me. "Stella, I knew there was something different about you from the start, and it wasn't just that you had God's soul shining out of you, it was you. I've never seen someone be so strong and be able to be so gentle too. It's not just God's soul in there, it's yours too. That's why you are the one chosen to do this, Stella. That's why you were chosen to bring back Eden, because of who you were to begin with. Stella, you're amazing. It's not the God part of you that makes you amazing. So please, don't feel like you're not good enough because that is not the least bit true. You are more than deserving. I know this is hard for you and I really wish I could take the burden off your shoulders and restore your life to how it was. If I could, I wouldn't even hesitate. I would do anything for you Stella." I looked up at Cas and saw the sincerity in his face and started crying again, but these were happy tears. I reached up to him in a motion that meant 'I really need a hug right now' and he knelt beside me and hugged me.

"Thank you, Cas." I whispered.

He pulled back and looked at me. "You don't need to thank me."

"Yes I do, because you aren't treating me differently, and I really need that right now." I smiled at him.

He smiled back. "I would never treat you differently. You're the same person you were before. You're the same person that I said I found mesmerizing."

I laughed and layed back on the grass and he did the same. We sat in silence and watched the clouds above us change color and dissapear until it was night and the cluster of stars that formed the Milky Way showed. "Thank you, Castiel." I whispered and grabbed his hand.

I saw in the corner of my eye that he looked down at our now connected hands and then he looked back up at me. I smiled and looked over at him to see his eyes sparkle like the stars above us. "Do you know what your name means, Stella?" He whispered.

"What?" I whispered back.

"Star. A guiding light." He smiled.

"How appropriate." I smiled back.

He looked back up at the stars and so did I. "I love you, Stella. No matter who you are."
