It was a normal day, chilly and snowy, but that didn't bother Melody she loved the cold. Melody was walking home from school, the snow crunching beneath her feet, as her phone started ringing. "Hello," Melody chirps into the phone. "Melody come quick, it's grace, she is not doing well." The person on the phone insisted. "What, I'm on my way, give her water now!" Melody panicked and ran to the vet clinic as fast as she could, she ran down the sidewalk and climbed over a fence, thought the park and bursts into the clinic. "WHERE IS SHE, I NEED TO SEE IF SHE IS O.K." Melody yells at the receptionist "grace is in room 235 on floor 3." She replies politely. Melody dashes to the stairs, the elevator takes too long, and bolted up the two flights of stairs "233...234...aha 235" Melody whips open the door and sees Belle and Lizzy crying at an empty room. Melody looks into Lizzy's swollen red eyes and then at the empty table where grace should be at. Melody falls to her knees and covers her face with her hands and sobs.
