Ch.8: Patrol

3rd Person P.O.V

Hiccup, Dakota, and Fishlegs were patrolling around Berk and some of the other nearby islands, and so far, they spotted nothing. Dakota flew up next to Hiccup and asked, "Have you seen anything?" Hiccup looked at Dakota and said, "No I haven't." He the. He then asked,"What about you?" Dakota said," Besides wild dragons, no I haven't." Fishlegs then appeared on Meatlug, he said,"I didn't see anything." He looked at Hiccup and Dakota and asked,"What about you two?" Dakota said,"We didn't see anything Fishlegs." Hiccup then said,"That's strange." Dakota looked at Hiccup and asked," What's strange Cuz?" Hiccup said,"I'm just confused, since the incident with the flyers, we haven't seen anything, why is that?" Dakota said,"Maybe something's happened with the hunters." Hiccup said," That is possible."

20 minutes later............

Dakota said,"We should get back to Berk before the others hunt us down." Hiccup nodded and said,"Let's go home." Hiccup, Fishlegs, and Dakota started flying towards Berk when their dragons halted and started getting angry and growling. Dakota patted Flame's headand said," Woah, calm down Flame!" Hiccup asked,"Toothless, what's wrong bud?" Fishlegs then asked,"What's going on with our dragons?" Dakota said,"I don't know Fishlegs." Their question was immediately answered when arrows started flying past their heads. Hiccup yelled,"WATCH OUT!!!!! IT'S AN AMBUSH!!!!!!" The three dragon riders all flew higher into the air. Dakota looked at Hiccup and asked,"What do we do?!!!" The three hunter ships started firing at the three dragon riders again. Hiccup said,"I have an idea!" Dakota asked,"What is it?" Hiccup said,"Fishlegs, you and Meatlug draw their fire, then Dakota will take out the sails on the ships, after that, we'll give them everything we've got!" Dakota said,"You got it Hiccup!"

Fishlegs flew Meatlug close to the water and drew their fire, while that was going on, Dakota and Flame flew through and blasted the sails into ashes. Hiccup then said,"Regroup!" Dakota and Fishlegs flew up next to Hiccup. Dakota asked,"Now what?" Hiccup said,"We combine our firepower and sink the ships!" Dakota and Fishlegs nodded and followed Hiccup as they flew towards the first ship. Hiccup said,"Wait for it." When they were close enough, he yelled,"Let them have it!!!!!!" The three dragons blasted the ship and sunk it while the hunters boarded another ship. Hiccup said,"One down, two to go!" They flew towards the second ship and did the same thing. Dakota said,"One ship left!" Hiccup said,"Give it everything we've got!" They all flew at the last ship and obliterated it, leaving the hunters floating on pieces of wood. Dakota asked,"Now what do we do?" Hiccup said,"We need to speak with my father." Dakota and Fishlegs nodded and followed Hiccup as they flew back to Berk.
