Addicting

Nagising ako nang mag-alarm ang phone ko. It's 5 in the morning. This is it! It's my first day in Buenaventura Corp.

Bumangon ako at nag-unat-unat. Sa kanang bahagi ng kwarto ay ang kama ni Helene kung saan siya nakahiga at natutulog. Helene's my best friend, actually more of sister at nakatira kami sa iisang apartment. Parehas kaming nagt-trabaho sa BC. At total, first day, magpapa-good shot ako. Maaga akong papasok.

I stood up and headed to the bathroom, I'll be taking a bath now. I took a bath for like twenty minutes then I started dressing up. I wore a white v-neck blouse, black pencil skirt and a black blazer paired with a beige high heels. Pagkalabas ko nang banyo, nakita ko si Helene na nakaupo sa sofa at nagkakape at pandesal.

"Oh, ang aga mo ah. Di ka naman masyadong excited?" She laughed after what she said. Napatawa na lang din ako at lumapit sa kusina para magtimpla ng kape.

"Gusto ko lang magpa-good shot, 'no. Tsaka para maganda first impression sakin ni Mr. Buenaventura." Sagot ko na hindi siya nililingon, inihalo ko na yung kape, asukal at mainit na tubig.

"Baka naman excited ka lang makita si Sir, gwapo e." Humalakhak siya at tumakbo papunta sa banyo. Hindi ko na siya nasagot. Napakunot na lang ang noo ko. Now I wonder how he looks like. Mabait kaya? O masungit? Gwapo ba? Single kaya?

Sabay kaming pumasok ni Helene sa building. Nginitian kami ni manong guard saka bumati, "Good morning, beautiful ladies."

It wasn't creepy. Alam ko naming nagiging friendly siya plus his Visayan accent is really funny. I smiled as a response and we headed to the elevator. Pinidot ko ang button papunta sa 11th floor habang si Helene naman ay sa 8th. Parehas kaming secretary pero ako, kay big boss at siya ay kay Mr. Vasquez. Si Mr. Vasquez ay ang best friend at business partner ni big boss.

Pagdating ko sa table ko sa harap ng office ng CEO a.k.a. Big Boss, inilagay ko agad ang bag ko sa lamesa. I started putting stationery on my desk when the door behind me opened.

"Make me a coffee." A man said in a cold tone. I turned my head to see who it was.

Oh my gosh.

Thaddeus Atticus Buenaventura.

I stood up and faintly smiled. "Yes, sir. Coming."

Lumapit ako sa dispenser at naglagay ng hot water sa tasa. Kumuha akong 3 in 1 na coffee sa sachet at nagtimpla. After he told me to make him a coffee, he left and entered his office again. Pagkatapos kong magtimpla, lumapit ako sa office niya at di na nag-abala pang kumatok. I enetered his office without any notice and I was shocked, extremely shocked of what I saw.

"S-sorry!" Paumanhin ko at tumalikod. Halos matapon pa sakin ang tinitimpla kong kape.

It feels weird and gross at the same time seeing a woman on his lap, kissing him passionately. The lady is blonde, mukhang may lahi.

"Give me my coffee." As usual, malamig pa rin ang tono niya. I looked at them. Nakatayo na si girl sa gilid ni Mr. Buenaventura. She rolled her eyes on me, while the guy was seriously staring at me.

"Next time, learn how to knock." He sarcastically said as I placed his coffee on his desk. I glanced at the whore – whore-looking, rather. She is wearing a very thick layer of makeup and a very revealing dress. Kitang kita na ang cleavage niya at halos hanggang singit lang ang haba nito.

I returned my gaze to the big boss when I noticed something...

He's staring somewhere below my neck. I looked down and saw my cleavage showing. V neck pa naman kasi 'tong suot ko tas may pagkamanyakis pala si big boss.

"I'm sorry again, sir." I bowed my head and left.

Umupo agad ako sa swivel chair ko at bumuntong hininga. I fixed my top and closed my eyes tightly. My heart's beating too fast. Shit! His stares are just so creepy and... addicting for some reason.
