The world is cruel. Yet often times what we interpret to be cruel is actually a blessing in disguise. I know for me this rings true, though I had no idea at the time.
Allow me to explain to not bore you to death with recounting every little detail.
I’m from a small town and went to a large college for my education. I double majored in writing/journalism and health. Oh, and I minored in business too. All in all I was perfectly suited for the job of a reporter. Honestly anything in the business world I was game for. By the time I graduated college I was in a serious relationship with my boyfriend. His name taboo in my book considering what he did later on.
We both moved to a small apartment in Hartford, Connecticut. I started working for a local paper there. It was small but well-paying, I didn’t do any big time writing though, only a few small articles no one bothered to read. In the span of the year I worked there I managed to catch the eye of Erwin Smith, a CEO of the Freedom Paper. A very popular newspaper, in fact probably the most popular paper in the city and possibly Connecticut itself. This paper was essentially equal to the New York Times.
Anyways, he offered me a job which I gladly accepted. Starting out working for him and living with my boyfriend I slowly adjusted to my life. Then the bombshell hit about three years later.
I was pregnant… and my boyfriend didn’t want it.
Within the course of the next couple of years he’d moved out, I had to find a new place, and was now a single mother of a precious one year old boy named Benjamin. Honestly, my life was at a low point right now as I was on my way to work and this was where my story now picks up.

Okay so this is a new story running around in my head and I decided to just go with it. Also, because this is for CAS creative hours for community service I will also be dedicating chapters to my awesome fans as well ^_^
