Hello readers! My name's Gabe, I'd like to introduce myself since this is my first fanfiction on this account. I like to do many things in my free time, such as drawing, writing, and cosplaying. This fanfiction in particular, is about my not-so-recent obsession, IT. I've always been a fan of the ship known as 'Reddie' so I finally cracked and started typing :) Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy, and if you do, leave a comment and tell me to continue :D
The summer of 89, a group of unpopular nerds find each other and spend their summer together. This group is known as the 'Losers Club'. Two boys specifically are in interest of each other, and just need the courage to say it. But their plans get pushed to the side because of a disturbance in their town. Missing children signs every 27 years... After poor Bill lost George, they started a truce that they need to come back when IT does. Which is every 27 years, if you didn't know. As this became a traditional thing, two best friends, Eddie and Richie, decided to make their own tradition. Involving the number 27 and would most likely end in locking lips. Once everything was all said and done, they all agreed to Eddie's challenge. Which was... If you swear 27 times this summer, you must say yes to the person you love, or vice versa. And with that, we start a new story, and come to a close for the old story. The end of summer. Less danger; excitement. We jump into the story, the Losers have stumbled upon the house IT is believed to be living in. Three of them, Richie, Bill, and Eddie, go upstairs and explore some. Something catches Eddie's eye, and he stops, just standing in the hallway. Richie and Bill are long gone in some other room, whilst not knowing what is about to happen to poor Eddie. Eddie finds a hole in the hallway floor near the window on the far right. Intrigued, he takes a closer look. All of a sudden, he hears a raspy voice behind him. It was the leper from earlier! Terrified, Eddie trips over a wood planks and falls backwards into the hole. He is in shock from the fall, and screams, then faints.
